Dr. Denis Walter Grillo, DO

I am thankful my visit was pleasurable and I learned a lot about my throat and my cough. A thorough exam . Dr. Trolls and his staff was just wonderful. Dr. Grillo told me ways to handle the cough and clearing of my throat and he has no idea how I appreciated his knowledge ....Michelle and Erica were assistants and I enjoyed their professionalism and kindness.

Move on to another office. No comfort here. I wish I read more of the reviews before I went to this office. Making negative remarks is not who I am, so I will just leave it at that. Very disappointed.

Very good doctor

I made an appointment to see Dr. Grillo for a lesion on my head. I was able to get and appointment immediately. The Dr. not only diagnosed and answered all of my questions, but also checked my ears, nose and throat as a courtesy to make sure that those areas were also healthy. He asked if I had anymore questions and also asked my son who was with me if he any questions. He is a very courteous and professional Dr.

If Dr. Dennis Grillo is the son of our wonderful friends from Flint , Michigan -Mary and Enio Grillo-, we had such wonderful times with the Grill's-Ennio loved his expresso after dinner and Mary -was so sweet and she loved to cook-many happy memories.

I have a lot of chronic health issues and have had to endure a lot of doctors exams. I saw Dr Grillo for dizziness. He was so thorough with his exam that he found some problems that other doctors missed. He explained my options for treatment and he and his staff were kind and patient because I had lots of questions. I think Dr Grillo is the best and I am feeling better thanks to him.

After reading a couple of the reviews I was nervous to see Dr. Grillo but thought I would see him anyway to form my own opinion since he came highly recommended from my family Dr. His staff was so pleasant and helpful and Dr Grillo was able to pinpoint my problem and treat me. I was very pleased.

Dear Sir I am the women you told before you even examined me that it was all in my head. I was ready to walk out and I should have, instead I sat there allowing your insults and abuse. Sat there like a fool while you insulted me and abused me, then jammed that thing up my nose without me having a clue what you were doing, absolutely NO warning, your assistant didn’t even warn me she just stood there, and she could have held my hands. You acted like I was wrong to jump at the pain you were inflicting on me. For your information when I sat in my car my left nostril began to bleed all over me, so obviously you injured me, don’t know why I am telling you this, with your nasty attitude I am sure injuring a patient is something you care little about, maybe even enjoy. Still the greatest part of my visit was when I witnessed you rolling your eyes at me, just like a high school girl, I caught you right in the act. Best part of my day I have not stopped talking about it, everyone laughs, and I mention your name so many times during the story I am sure they won’t make the same mistake I did. Now let me get to the reason for my letter it turned out I am allergic to one of my new medications you know the new treatments I spoke of that never got a second thought, not even one questions about how I am doing on it?, do they give you any drugs during the treatment?, since it has been so new to me, just like my throat feeling clogged. Guess when I said, “recently” my throat has been bothering me more than usual, NOT that something is growing in my throat, as you kept saying, words I never used, not once, the idea of new treatment never came into your trained mind, hmmmm. So let me finish my story Saturday after my treatment my BP was sky high my head was pounding, it has been getting higher every time I go to treatment but never thought allergy, but this time it was 198/115, my throat and face began to swell and I ended up in a clinic, throat closing up, head about to blow up, guess the meds they have been giving me this last month built up, good thing I found a real Dr to treat me. Hmmmm (BIG EYE ROLL you know about those) all in my head HA, would have been nice if you asked more questions instead of labeling me, writing a letter to the Dr who referred me to you telling him it’s all in my head, well now he will see my letter to you. I am so tired of people abusing and misusing their status, so many don’t even deserve their titles, so Sir I pray you stop abusing your patients. I really think you were upset because I filled out two pages, the girl at the desk warned me and said it is either or, hmmm funny but in my case the two go hand and hand, great way to get to know your patients. Seems I read something like this once in the newspaper long time ago (“Drs read the chart and know nothing about the patient”) look at you calling the pot calling the kettle black... if you knew this why didn’t you get to know me? I almost died and you might have asked more questions and prevented that, but you were mad I filled out two papers, those papers the patients are allowed only one of don’t seem to be helping you to know your patients. A few years back when I read in the article you wrote I was impressed, I thought that person must be great, if I ever have an ear, nose, or throat issue I am going to him. Oh well, I guess I should have waited to hear how great you are from someone other than you. Don't bother to respond you have no lie that can answer to this.

Dr Grillo did a great job on my ears. No or little wait time. Thanks Dr Grillo.

saved my life. called me after surgery for months and walked me through my cancer treatments. always there for all of my questions and spoke to me in plain English. most caring doctor.

I went to emergency room with very bad sinus infection They refer me to Doctor Grillo.one of 3 nose & throat doctors here in Citrus County I call they give me an appointment to see him in 10 days After 5 days his girl calls and says they have an opening today.. I see him he does nothing about my sinus problem and gives me an appointment to see him again in a few days Right after I get home I get a phone call from him that he doesn't do anything with thyroids(I never went to him for a thyroid it was sinus's) I see him on that second visit he gave me He says and does nothing about my sinus problem but puts a fiber optic down my right nostril He talks into a recorder stating he see's something less than a centimeter blah blah Now he wants to do a procedure I told him I just had a procedure done 3 weeks ago for a growth in my stomach by a Gastronologist and the nurse said afterwards that I was coughing badly while I was under.. He starts leaving the room and I asked him what about my sinus infection he tells me to take care of it myself.. six days later I get a letter from Dr Grillo...if I was you I would get the procedure done.In the meantime I made an appointment to see a nose & throat doctor in Ocala who I seen in a few days It took him a couple of minutes to find what Grillo saw..A small growth way down the bottom of my tongue..He told me its common don't worry about it...P.S. two weeks latter I get another letter from Grillo ..,I'm not his patient anymore,don't come back unless it's a real emergency..what an arrogant clown.. that emergency room visit cost me over $1000.00 A strange man!!! (I still have the two letters he sent me)

I had an appointment to see this Dr. for my ear the other day. I will admit I was a little addrivated because I had to wait 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. But once I got to see the Dr. it didn't even matter. Wow! This doctor actually took the time to listen to me and did a more thorough exam than my family doctor. Sometimes quality is worth the wait. His staff was so polite and friendly they even called me the day before and told me how much to expect so I could be prepared for my visit. I would recommend this doctor to everyone!

He accuartely diagnosed my nasal problems and advised corrective surgery. That eliminated my constant migraine headaches.He is very friendly. professional and really cares about his patients. Takes the time to explain all procedures!Excellent Dr.

The office manager could not have been any ruder. She was unprofessional and nasty. If she was having a bad day she was taking it out on the patients. Obviously the Dr.does'nt care enough to address the problem since he has'nt returned my call concerning the situation. Unemployment is'nt quite high enough I guess.

Took time examining me and did a very thorough exam. Friendly and compassionate office staff. Office clean and organized.

I find Dr. Grillo to be be an excellent physician. I drove from Daytona Beach for a cosmetic procedure and I would do it again.]!!!!!!!
