Dr. Dennis Carlini, MD

Dr. Carlini is not personable by any means. Doesn't smile but gets right to the point. He has done 4 operations on me and all were successful. If you want success see him but if you want to be cuddled, go somewhere else. It's just the way he is.

I have known this remarkable Surgeon since 1972. I met him during my time working at Greater SE. Hospital . He is very knowledgeable, people person and gives his Patients excellent service. He has performed surgery on me twice for total knee replacements. If you are in need of a doctor you can put total trust in, then Dr. Dennis Carlini is your guy. EXCELLENT DOCTOR !!!!

Dr. Carlini is pompous, arrogant, rude, price-gouging, unprofessional, and thinks he knows everything. I went to him years ago with an x-ray and he informed me that I had a heel fracture, and placed me in a boot for weeks. I went to another orthopedic to find out I had heel spurs. You will wait in the back room for at least 60-90 minutes before you are seen. He is quick to give you a piece of medical equipment without notifying you that you will have to pay for it (price-gouging). I will never, ever go see this doctor again. Stay away!!!

In more than 50 years I have never been to a dr and each time I go I'm waiting a minimum of an hr and a half before I even get to see dr Carlini. I don't know about other people but my time is just as important to me as a doctors. if you're 15 minutes late they charge you and cancel your appointment but it's ok for you to wait unacceptable amounts of time to see them. Today my appointment was at 3:05. It is now 4:50 and I still have yet to see him. Its unfortunate that there is no performance evaluation. He is NOT recommended

We saw Dr. Carlini for my daughter's injured foot (age 12.) He disagreed with the XRay that had previously been done, and insisted it was only sprained. He kept pressing the area that was tender over and over, despite it causing my daughter obvious pain. He yelled at her that he did not want her using her crutches, and at one point grabbed her crutches and made her walk 15 feet. He was horrible. I have seen several other doctors in this practice, and love them, but would not ever go see him, or recommend that anyone see him again. He later called and apologized to our pediatrician for the treatment he gave us, but never called us. My daughter is now under the care of another physician, and she does indeed have 2 fractures in her foot.

He has been my Doctor since 1983 and is an excellent doctor.

Dr. Carlini has performed two surgeries on me, my left shoulder and right knee. Both surgeries were very successful. If you need a hug or a pat on the back, go see someone else. If you need ortho-surgery see him, he's one of the best.

This is the most pompous and rude doctor I've ever met - a surgeon with a major "God complex" who doesn't have the time of day for ordinary Joes. He brags that he's done 20,000+ operations which apparently gives him the ability to diagnose you without having to physically check you out. Dude is old - and old school - and uses profanity like they did in the 60s and 70s. One can tell that his staff is scared of him. I'd stay away from this practice if I were you

Dr. Carlini and the office staff (nurse practioner and xray techs) are very rude. During my check-in I was asked about multiple issues yet, during my "exam" the rude nurse practioner said "We can only address one...Pick one". After she left the room I could overhear her complaining to the office staff about my having secondary pain. Dr. Carlini then entered the room with a major attitude. His greeting was very unprofessional and he was dismissive. Very unprofessional. I will not be going back to this office.

I LOVE DR. CARLINI! Each time I came to him with an ailment, he would examine me and then declare what was wrong. He knew just what to do to correct my problem. It has worked every time. He is the greatest!

Dr. Carlini has a horrible bedside manner. I thought he just didn't like me. He was dismissive, arrogant, and brushed my concerns off. He was very pompous and his entire staff is a reflection of him. They are rude, argumentative, and not very helpful. I would not recommend this doctor's office to anyone.

Dr. Carlini performed a total right knee replacement (TKR) on me six months ago. I am still in great pain. Saw him today to ask why and presented with a swollen, red, and raw feeling knee. Without laying a hand on me for an exam or reviewing X-rays ordered by his colleague a week ago, Dr. Carlini became very dismissive of my problems and stated that due to my bad back that's what is causing the pain in my right TKR. I tried to explain my issues and he would not listen and stuck to his L-5 riducolopathy causing my knee to feel raw and painful diagnosis. I am going to get a second opinion.

Dr. Carlini Has been great he tells you like it is he doesn't sugar coat it and I like that, when I don't understand medicail terms he exsplaines it in a way that anyone can understand,He is a caring doctor and his staff is wonderful I'm so glad that I found him.He goes over your MRI with you right there and shows you what is going on and after surgery he sowed me before and after pictures of my knee and took the time to answer all my questions that I had, and did treat me like a idiot when I asked. Great staff and doctor I will recommend to anyone.

Basically this doctor is a surgeon, and seems that if you aren't getting surgery, you are not worth the time of day. It was like pulling teeth to get any of my questions answered, and he mostly just brushed off all of my concerns. He's one of those doctors that expects you to just smile and nod and follow whatever orders he gives you without question. Every time I asked a question he acted as though I was wasting his time and was a huge inconvenience to him. Also, the treatment he gave me has left me in much more pain than I started.

90 minute wait to see doctor.Very poor scheduling for follow up care by office staff.

it is the worst office visit ever

My first experience was very good because I was in continuous pain and nervous about how I would be received. Dr. Carlini was kind, informative, caring, and went right to the heart of the problem. I felt calm and trusted his judgment. His staff is a reflection of him. They are kind,caring, and efficient. It is the best Doctor's visit that I have had in a long time. He and his staff renewed my faith. Thank you, Dr. Carlini.

The staff at Dr. Carlini office is careless and not good at customer service. Dr. Carlini on the other hand rushes thru with his patients and is veryarrogant, not willing too have proper patients with his clients. Paper work for worker's comp and disability is not a prioirity to the staff or him. I will never ever use his service again.When there is a deadline needed on forms his staff is very non-chalant. He and his staff need to be more professional, courteous, and spend less time running their mouth and getting patients out of the office. Dr. Carlini needs to be on time for appointments.Always late.

Dr. Carlini was extremely rude the first time I saw him. I waited over 2 hours to see him (with an appt) and he spent less than 5 minutes with me. I had a lot of questions for him but he barely gave me a chance to speak. I knew that he was running behind that day and decided to give it another try with my recheck. I supposedly had his 1st appt, yet I waited over an hour to be seen. In short, he was extremely rude and arrogant again. I will never go back to him.
