Dr. Dinesh Verma, MD

Dr Verma took me in as a critical patient after my hospitalization for heart failure and lung problems; this when he was already highly booked. His personality makes it easy to understand what he is doing and what his plan of treatment entails. And he stays with you until you understand what he wants you to know. Because of that my therapy went well and I was discharged from care a few months later. Dr Verma,thank you! And thank you to the entire staff.

The most caring PERSON I have ever know Listens to his patients Gives exceptional care to each person. Dr Verma has saved my life several times. Same with his staff going over lab results as soon as they come in his office my lab work is checked out. I find their staff efficient and friendly and helpful.

This has got to be the worst dr that "practices" in chico. FIND ANYONE ELSE to go to or you will get very poor treatment

This doctor spends more time on his cell phone than talking to patients. He is rude and his nurse was awful.

This is a smart doctor, very quick in addressing pulmonary illness and treating efficiently. Very sanitary in his habits and excellent professional manner and appearance.

I have been treated well. No complaints.

Dr. Verma is one of the best doctor's I know. His medical skills are excellent and he is a good, kind person. He works really hard caring for those who need him. He has done great needs for the special needs folks I care for and he is who I want to go to if I have a problem. I trust him completely! We are fortunate to have someone of his caliber in Chico.

I am incredibly impressed with Dr. Verma and his staff. They were able to squeeze me in for a next day visit as a brand new patient, which was a very pleasant surprise. Dr. Verma treated me with respect and reassured me immensely during my visit. I could tell he genuinely cared about my concerns, which meant so much to me.

Dr. Verma's office staff is rude and self absorbed. The atmosphere cold and the actual tempurature freezing. The wait time was clearly unacceptable and was far greater than one hour to be taken back to the exam room and then another 20 miuntes before seeing Dr. Verma. Having made phone calls for over three weeks I finally got a return call suggesting that my needs were not important enough to get a call from the doctor. Serious issues with the doctor and his practice.

Horrible Doctor

Dr Verma will not follow up with my phone calls when I have copd flare ups. I can not not count on him to follow up on my care when I am admitted to Enloe. Last admit I was in Enloe for 5 days and saw a doctor 2 times. His group of doctors do not work together. I am not getting better and feel he should be following up with tests , because I am a high risk patient for detoration . I feel like I am just blown off when I call his office. It is not until I am so sick that I get his attention and end up in the hopital. But, then I never see him and usually have to see Dr Val who is very rude and cold, they do not explain to me my progress, After 5 years of treatment with this office getting worse not better, I follow all advise and my meds to the tee. They have had a complete turn over of office staff that are very rude. This is when I noticed a big change. Never return my phone calls as promised... I like Dr verma, however, his office staff and Dr Val need to remember they are dealing with critical care patients that are sick and confused due to the medicatations such as steriods. I wait 1-2 hours to be seen and then I see the doctor for 5 mins. if I am lucky. Hate to change doctors, but I need better care and communcation from my doctor.
