Dr. Mccarren is very understanding and caring. He explained everything that we need to do very thoroughly.

I have nothing but praise for Dr. McCarren and the complete staff at The Memory Treatment Center.

Neurology is a broad field. When a doctor does not know about a condition, I wish they would admit it rather than let the patient decline. Dr. Maccaren allowed my father to go into a myasthenia gravis crisis under his supposed care. He is incompetent and should admit when he is in over his head.

Dr. McCarren is a very personable doctor and does not hurry the appt. He takes all the time he needs with his patients and I have never found a better doctor than him.

I met with Dr Mccarren last week for undiagnosed symptoms I’ve had for over 11 years. He was caring, attentive, thorough and very easy to talk to. He even called me personally after a test to check in with me. I feel as if I may finally have some answers as to what’s going on. He spent a great deal of time talking with me and listening to me. I’d highly recommend him!

I saw Dr. Donald McCarren with my 71 year old mom this past week to have her evaluated for an on-going hand tremor. This physician visit was like none other that either one of us had ever experienced before in our cumulative 60 years of nursing experience! Dr. McCarren was absolutely FANTASTIC to work with!! Such warm, friendly, jovial bedside manner that put my mom's worried mind at ease. He treated us as intelligent medical colleagues which made us both feel respected and heard. He spent an hour and a half with us obtaining a full history and exam...his high intelligence and wit shining through the entire time. My mom walked into his office visibly nervous about the possible diagnosis that lie before her and then after spending time with him, walked out of the office with a much lighter step, her worries alleviated (even though she still had to undergo testing). His office staff was extremely available to our needs and immediately got my mom the authorization from insurance that she needed for testing. I would HIGHLY recommend this office and Dr. McCarren to anyone with any neurological needs...TOP NOTCH PHYSICIAN!!!

This Doctor is wonderful and he is very funny. Makes you feel comfortable and takes his time with you. He is like an encyclopedia of knowledge. He told me more about my condition than anyone else. I would recommend him. Joanne in the office is very nice also. This was my first visit.

I have been seeing Dr. McCarren for years. He is caring and personable. The appointment is never rushed and the staff is very helpful and courteous.

Two other Neurologists couldn't diagnose my condition, it took Dr McCarren about 20 minutes to diagnose and discover treatment that relieved symptoms. Great patient rapport, compassion and empathy. Awesome person!

Dr. McCarren was fantastic. I've never seen a Neurologist before, but I really lucked out with him. I've been having pain for over six weeks now, and he was able to pin point my pain, and help find answers for me. I would recommend him to any one looking for a specialist. I am so grateful that I met him, and Dr. McCarren took the time to solve the issues I was having. Thank you for taking the pain away.

Dr. Donald McCarren is an exceptional physician! He is incredibly knowledgeable, extremely caring, accessible, intuitive, insightful and provides care in a kind, thought provoking and educational way that goes beyond any prior healthcare experience I've had to date! (As a 50+ year old, that's pretty many doctors!) He builds understanding of very complicated and complex medical issues by simplifying the diagnosis so that anyone can understand what is required for healing and wellness. He is an impressive, professional caregiver, setting a new standard that hopefully others might one day achieve! Superb!

Dr. McCarren is invested in providing the best care and experience for the patient. Throughout my experience as his patient, I have appreciated Dr. McCarrenâ??s initiatives, including, (1) To build positive relationships with his patients; (2) To work with patients to provide the best medical recommendations; and (3) To be a resource for patients as a medical professional, mentor, etc. I highly recommend Dr. McCarren and his office!

I would not be where I am today with out DR. Mccarren and his staff they helped me through my roughest times and I will never be able to thank everyone there for all the things they did for me and my Family and Friends !!

I have seen many neurologists since my diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis in 1999. Dr. McCarren is not only my favorite Neurologist, but he is also my favorite Doc of all times! When the phone rings at 7AM, I am never surprised to find Dr. McCarren on the line, after he went over my labs, to inform me that I have a lab reading that he is not comfortable with, and will I please see a specialist to correct what is wrong. He has picked up problems before my internist! His temperament is delightful, he has humor, and is a real genuine patient advocate. I would not change docs, and will travel to stay in his care no matter where I move. His care and energy help me as much as medication.

Dr. McCarren is top notch. He is personable, very knowledgable and down to earth. He established rapport with me immediately as he really listened to what I was saying, not hiding behind a computer or a tablet. I felt very confident with his medical knowledge, even outside of his area of expertise. He was thorough, addressed all my questions, and even initiated a call to my endocrinologist to discuss some complicating factor to help my diagnosis. The last this I have to say is I feel he is very practical and I like that a lot. Highly recommend.

I have a couple doctors for my condition & Dr. McCarren is by far my favorite. Very personable & cares about getting the correct diagnosis.

When Dr. McCarren first saw me I was in a wheelchair most of the time. My muscles in my legs had become so weak that I was afraid to walk anywhere. I had tremors that made me lose my mobility. Thanks to the doctor's care I can do all the things I want to do. My tremors are being controlled. Thank you Dr. McCarren!
