Staff constantly messing up appointments, if you try calling them it takes forever for someone to get back to you. Dr Sachs is very arrogant and doesn't give you the time you need. He might be good at his job but all the negatives to deal with in this office aren't worth it.

When I went to my first visit, Dr. Sachs explained everything to me and said I needed surgery. Turned out to be major surgery ! Before the surgery I couldn't walk or stand for over 5 minutes. Now after the surgery I can do all the things I couldn't do before the surgery !! I am so thankful for a great doctor like Dr. Sachs. And his team is one of the Best !!1 His Office staff has always treated me respect and kindness. I highly recommend Dr. Sachs and his team !!

Went to see Dr. Sachs with recent MRI in hand. He came back from lunch and I was seen. The MRI I do not believe was even looked at. Was told to start with p.t. and then they took x-rays. He didn't even know what was shown on the MRI scan when we questioned him about it Went to another Dr. And he viewed my M.R.I. and was told the opposite. Had a broken S1 vertebrae which had shifted 6mm. And disc's from L1-L5 were deteriorated and almost not there. Dr. Sachs was an arrogant and unconcerned doctor in our opinion. If I had followed his advice the doctor I chose stated I may have ended up in much worse condition. I had surgery 6 weeks later it was so bad.

Staff was very caring. Dr Sachs is a very talented doctor. Surgery with a spinal cord stimulator was very successful. I haven’t been this pain free or been able to move in years. Wait times were reasonable as was scheduling any procedures and surgery. I would recommend him in a minute.

Would not even let me talk to the doctor. Then cancelled my surgery stated I didn't have confidence in them. Ins co was livid!!

If only you see the Dr, even if the referring Dr spoke to Dr sacks and said you'd be seen ASAP ! Took a month to get in only to see the nurse practitioner. Now have to wait another 3 months to see the Dr !! He only is only in the office on Friday ! That is terribly wrong

Dr. Donald Sachs is the BEST neurosurgeon in Polk County, Fl. He is caring, compassionate and excellent. He took wonderful care of my husband way before surgery, during, after and all the follow up appointments in the office. His nurse assistant Ms. Laurie is also excellent! After having my appointment moved due to a "Family emergency" i waited in the waiting room for 2 and 1/2 hours. Was in the patient room for another 30 minutes before the Nurse came in and told me to just loose weight that the needle would not go through "the extra tissue". Now i know that i am overweight, however this has not been mentioned by any of my previous doctors. Just remember that when you schedule your appointment you will NOT see the "real" doctor, just the nurse. I cannot begin to explain my dissatisfaction with this practitioners office and staff.

I was fortunate to get a cancellation appointment within 2 days of my initial call. Surgery was needed and I already had all of my pre-op exams & clearances along with CT and MRI disks. Surgery was scheduled for 2 weeks after my initial visit with Dr. Sachs. He is conservative and explains what he recommends for cervical fusions. Contrary to other reviewers, I found him down to earth and with a good bedside manner. My total experience with Dr. Sachs went well. My surgery was 5 weeks ago and I am recovering extremely well. There still needs to be some attitude adjustments by several of his staff members. Their rudeness, bad attitude and not returning calls has unfortunately cost a great doctor some new patients. Hopefully Dr. Sachs will continue to encourage positive attitudes and kindness from all of his staff. I will highly recommend Dr. Sachs.

First physician who offered me any hope of getting rid of my back pain after another doctor messed up a spinal fusion.

Man has the bed side manner of House, I was in unbearable pain. , he helped get me out of pain. I love this man, if I ever have to have surgery on my back, he will be the one that does it. Bad bedside manner or not he got me relief. It took me a couple of months to get in, but the results were worth it

Had a consult for severe back pain. The staff was great and everyone was so nice that made process good for me. Would recommend highly to anyone in pain.

Dr.Sachs worked very had to try to prevent having to do surgery on me but it came down to having to have it done fused 5 discs and did rods in my lower back only had to spend 2 days in the hospital then recovery at home has been very good so far this was done 2 weeks ago no longer taking pain meds and doing good thanks to his great work

I love Dr. Sachs and his staff. Especially Kim. I waited 6 or 7 weeks to have my first appointment. He was very honest with me, he wanted me to lose weight. I lost 10 pounds, he set me up for sciatic injection. I got that i felt great that day. Then he set me up for a SI Joint fusion. I am 3 weeks out from the surgery. I FEEL GREAT!!!!!. I can walk. I am still trying to lose weight. Dr. Sachs is the best doctor ever.

After a failed back surgery with a local surgeon I was referred to Dr. Sachs - upon a thorough evaluation I was recommended for injections. Unfortunately the injections did not provide relief therefore I am scheduled for surgery in the next couple of week. I am very pleased with the attention and care that Dr. Sachs and his office staff has provided to me. All of my questions have been answered and the staff has assisted in obtaining authorization and completing medical records. I highly recommend Dr. Sachs and his office.

Dr. Sachs and his staff is outstanding. Dr Sachs has help me to walk much better there was a time I wasn't able to barely walk. He also caught an infection in my spine that could have done a lot of damage but thank God I had Dr Sachs working on my side. Thank you Dr Sachs and Staff for all the great work.

Didn't listen. Told me I wasn't in pain. Poked my hip during exam and said I was fat. Took a call from nurse at hospital about his patients there and rolled his eyes and sighed the whole time. Disregarded the diagnosis from surgeon who referred me to him so that he could send me down a goose chase path of multiple injection procedures (that would make him more money and I have had done before). Made me cry, then told me I just wanted him to do surgery on me, and alluded to the notion that I Dr hopped to get what I want. I was actually referred by one Dr to another as we are trying to solve my years old now severe back pain problem (with breast cancer thrown in the middle) that has caused me to have nearly no quality of life. Thank you for nothing Dr Sachs. Check your ego at the door.
