The staff was super friendly and fast. The doctor is fantastic! His bed side manners are amazing as well as his work. I had carpel tunnel surgery on both my hands. I don’t think there could have been a better outcome. 6 stars!

Doctor Dodson is #1 as an Orthopedic Surgeon. He listens to all your questions and answers them thoroughly. He has good bedside manners. Very understanding. Doesn’t push surgery. Waits until you are ready. Great and friendly staff. Easy to make appointment.

Dr. Dodson accepted a referral for follow-up on a recent “out-of-town” hip replacement. As always, Dr. Dodson was thorough in his review and answered all questions. The staff, from the front desk to the treatment rooms is courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. I am confident the care I receive there is the best available anywhere.

I have complete trust in Dr. Dodson. He has given me 2 new hips with no problems afterwards and in present time. He also fixed my fractured shoulder when I fell at home. He is wonderful!

Limited bedside manner. Not very friendly. Summarily referred me to an out of town doctor and didn’t explain why he didn’t want to perform my surgery himself.

My last appointment with Dr. Dodson left me feeling incredibly disappointed. I had my hip replacement in May and although the surgery went well, I’ve had a few complications recently. I shared my concerns with Dr. Dodson and it was obvious he did not care at all. He was dismissive when I expressed my concerns about the pain I’ve been experiencing and his lack of concern caused me to no longer trust his “expertise”. I’m quite disgusted and angry. Dr. Dodson does not care at all about his patients.

Actually, it was one of the most pleasant doctor encounters that I have had in the last 10 years. Love a doctor that looks at their patients and listens.

This doctor completely missed my developing hip osteoarthritis. On the basis of a single X-ray and no physical exam where I was touched, he told me I had bursitis and arthritis so mild that I wouldn’t need to worry about it for 10 years. That was two years ago. I suffered with constantly worsening pain, rigidity, and limping, but assured my primary care doctor and physical therapist that serious arthritis had been ruled out by an orthopedist. I began to suspect I had something exotic wrong with me, based on his assurance of very mild arthritis and yet my worsening condition. So 3 months ago, I took an apartment near a major orthopedic center in another part of the country. They know what they’re doing here. Next month I will have one hip replaced, then the other, following a diagnosis of SEVERE osteoarthritis of both hips.

Very good for a first visit and alleviated any fears. Expected MRI and follow up.
