Dr. Douglas L Gotlin, DO

I went to visit to Dr. Douglas to do to my pap smear come abnormal and I have to do a Colposcopy so I make my appointment to do with doctor Douglas Gatlin after I wait 2:45 after my appointment he asked me to return after 2 to 3 weeks saying that he is refusing do it that day. I have a history of breast cancer which I did a mastectomy in both of them and I am taking tamoxifen that can cause cancer in uterine, so wait for me sis not a option specially because I was in my appointment, besides not having taken the exam that I went to do, he gave me the result of my paps and made a circle in the result and told me to look at google what that means. His nurse was very ignorant and don't recommend at all.

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Gotlin and I cannot say enough about him. He is so nice and really took his time to speak with me and answer all of my questions. I feel SO much better as I just made the switch to him from a Dr I did not feel comfortable with. I am so happy I made the change, I left my appointment feeling so much better. He really listens to his patients and doesn't make you feel rushed at all. I highly recommend Dr. Gotlin and will definitely go back to him again for my future pregnancies.

After all the money you pay isnt easy to get your results... Not cool!

I wasn't a patient of Dr. Gotlin's during my pregnancy, but had to be delivered by him at Mount Sinai due to complications and inability to make it to my OB at South Miami Hospital on time. Considering the serious nature of those complications, I would have assumed that Dr. Gotlin would exhibit a little bit more concern or care. Like, actually walking into my room, and explaining to me (the patient) what was happening and why an emergency C-section was needed -- instead of communicating through the nurse. Having my questions answered and putting my mind at ease was nowhere on Dr. Goslin's priority list that morning, and it seemed to me that he was a bit bothered / disturbed by me emergency in the middle of the night. He didn't show up after the surgery either, when I was still trying to figure out what happened. My staples got taken out 2 days late, because no services were getting performed until insurance approved the expense. And, when I did come in to have the staples removed, Dr. Gotlin had an intern there. Again, in my world, I would have appreciated an advanced notice and a permission to have someone observe that procedure. Overall, not impressed.

I was a patient of his 9 years ago and he was wonderful!!! I am sure he is just as good of a doctor today as he was then. He always answered my questions thoroughly and I never felt rushed by the visit. He has excellent bed side manner. I highly recommend him!!! Since then I have had several obgyn's and none of them compare to him! Really wish he would move to georgia

THIS OFFICE AND DOCTOR IS TERRIBLE. I HAVE NEVER WRITTEN A REVIEW ABOUT ANY DOCTOR BEFORE BUT YOU SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM HIM.First of all I had over an hour wait, which is ridiculous. I have had many paps and I never had pain after them, after I went to Dr. Gotlin I had terrible pain for two days (which is obviously because he has NO idea what he's doing). He is scatter brained and took 15 minutes on his phone to try to find a pharmacy near my house. After we spent 15 minutes looking for this pharmacy, his office staff sent the prescription to another one. Not only, but they called me back with another prescription a week later. I went to pick it up that night and Walgreens had no record of this prescription. I called them back to see what the problem is and if they could resend it - they have no record of this prescription.STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR AND HIS IGNORANT STAFF.

The people at the front desk is not helpfull, never return phone calls, and they are treating the patience like is nothing. Dott. Gotlin is way to fast during the visit.He most prob.has to many patients to see but doing like this the quality of his service is poor.

Dr. Gotlin is thorough, courteous, and well informed. He takes the time to answer all my questions and explains anything that's not clear. He really cares about his patients. The only Negative has nothing to do with him, but some of the office help are rude. There's a girl who works in the office who gives out samples, named JOVIA, and she always has a bad attitude, is rude, and doesn't give me what the doctor tells her. He seriously needs to get rid of her, as every single time I see him, I have to deal with the stress of her giving me a bad attitude.

This doctor's office is incredible. I've never had a doctor's office where I felt so comfortable and welcome. The staff is very nice including Victoria the girl in the front and the nurses. Dr Gotlin is a very professional doctor that is sure to make you feel important. He has told me he loves what he does. I may be moving next year and upset that I may have to leave such a great office! I have been with them for 2 years and recommend them 100%.
