Dr. Garcia completed shoulder repair of my labrum, rotator cuff, and detached bicep. He gave clear directions, a "Dr. Garcia origional sketch" of what was wrong & what needed to be repaired. His staff was exceptional in communication and scheduling. Many physicians can get that correct, but I feel that Dr. Garcia's skill was the reason for my complete repair. Post operatively I was struggling with pain management and Dr. Garcia was easily reached on a Saturday afternoon to change my pain medication. I also think Dr. Garcia's conservative post-op activity protocol and 6 month, step by step physical therapy protocol was the reason for my complete recovery. I would recommend Dr. Garcia without any reservations.

Office makes you pay up front for services and then holds your money for more than 90 days even after they have been paid by your insurance company. I have had to call 3 times and still have not gotten my refund yet.

I torn 2 muscles in my hip. 6 month’s later I still cannot walk without extreme pain. I’m ready to change doctor. Several times I felt his behavior was rude to the hospital workers. He is an owner of the Spine & Surgical Hospital, San Antonio, where I had my surgery.

Doctor Garcia operated on my right shoulder in June 2016. Everything went great. He and his staff are very professional and personable. I am very pleased with all the services I received.

I've seen Dr. Garcia about once a year for various knee pains. He's never suggested surgery for me. The wait time is ridiculous in his office - I feel like the scheduling could be done better. Otherwise, I feel like he is a pretty good doctor.

Love Dr. Garcia's bedside manner, but his staff is not efficient. They take days to get back to you. They do not follow through on issues that you call about. Quite a shame because he is truly a great doctor. The staff is courteous, but inept.

i began seeing dr. garcia over 3 years ago for hip pain that developed one day while running...he diagnosed me with bursitis and i.t. band syndrome and gave me 8 steroid injections and put me through 3 rounds of physical therapy...i asked dr. garcia to do another mri because my pain continued but he refused sticking to his original diagnosis...well, i found another doctor who did an mri and found that i actually had tendonitis with a parial tear in my hip tendon...dr. garcia failed to try and figure out why the bursitis devolepd just saying it was due to my running...bursitis is more or less a generic diagnosis and is usually caused by something else...now almost 4 years later i am facing surgery since conventional methods have all failed...if your doctor doesn't listen to you find a new one...i would not recommend him...
