Dr. Edith Joanne Lubin, MD

Dr. Lubin is a great doctor, she is very caring and knowledgeable. She doesn't make her patients wait long periods of time to be seen. I would definitely refer her.

Very good doctor. Good bed side manners. Prompt.

Doesn’t spend a lot of time with patients. In fact most of the patients time is sitting there waiting on her. Yells and gripes about patients time management. Doesn’t give results of tests like she should. Is rude to paitents the night have cancer. Accuse patients of causing inflammation with heating pads when the patient doesn’t own one or have access to any. Doesn’t prescribe the right medication or the right tests ordered. Can have a rude attitude with patients in front of their families. Takes two hours to be seen. Says she will be right back and never comes back.

My husband and I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Lubin after searching for a primary care provider. My husband wanted other options for he is currently being seen at a VA medical facility. My husband has stage 4 cancer. Dr. Lubin contacted me a few days prior to the appointment. One of the first things she stated was I do not do pain management here. My husband is fighting for his life and yes with stage 4 cancer he experiences pain. This changed how we viewed Dr. Lubin. My spouse is not looking for pain medicine to feed an addiction. He is looking for a caring doctor. He has an oncologist that works with us to keep him comfortable. I do not believe this is a good first encounter. As a new patient...it should have been sure come on in to see me. I will do all I can to help keep you as healthy as possible...there are actual patients out there that are honestly looking for a good doctor not a drug hand out.
