When a malignant tumor was found during my colonoscopy this doctor had one foot in the curtained off area and one foot out. He had no time to discuss my options or empathize at all. He couldn’t wait to rush off to look at the next colon.

Not an internist for sure

Went in for a general check up and colonoscopy. They found a tumor in my intestines and Dr. Kim immediately helped me schedule an appointment with a surgeon. He explained everything very clearly and helped me feel confident about the treatment. Many people have spoken very highly of Dr. Kim before I met him. He is kind and friendly and takes the time to listen to his patients. He personally followed up with me after my biopsy test to tell me the results.

He is very calming and I had no pain , nothing. Most efficient procedure I had ever had. He is the best.

If all you want is a prescription, regardless of whether it will actually help you or not, then go ahead and make an appointment, but if you want a doctor who will accurately diagnosis your problem and help you create a plan for healing and better health, keep looking. On my final payment, I wrote "Stop sleeping with the RX reps." Dr Edward C Kim uses a textbook approach. Symptom X means Diagnosis X which is treated with Drug X. That's bad medicine!

I feel Dr. Kim is hard to connect with as he doesn't do a good job explaining the problem, solution, and medicine. He assumes you know and doesn't explain it as if you were hearing it for the first time. The office also doesn't do a good job following up with patients.
