Dr. Benton has done the replacement on both my knees. It is the best thing I have ever done. The surgery has left a thin scar, not like most I see. Dr. Benton's background as an engineer shows how detailed he is. Kind as well but hands down the Best of the Best as a surgeon and caring physician!!

Dr. Edward Benton is a skilled surgeon and a compassionate physician. I had a total knee replacement 2 months ago. From the start he put me at ease, listened to my questions and concerns, allowing me to make my decision. He took me through the surgical procedure and the steps he takes to minimize trauma and discomfort and enable recovery. Day 2 of the surgery I had no swelling or bruising! A true partner in care, he outlined the goals for recovery and his expectations of my part in staying healthy, avoiding infection, following through with the daily exercises and working with the physical therapists. His staff is well-organized, and responsive and the surgical experience at Seton was excellent. I am very grateful to Dr. Benton and would gladly refer anyone to him. I was referred to Dr. Benton from another doctor and was told he was the best in the business. I couldn't agree more! I had my left knee totally replaced after having it partially replaced 10 years ago. Best decision ever. Dr. Benton says to be sure and do the rehab and I followed his instructions and all has gone well. Great doctor along with a great staff. He deserves more than 5 stars.

I'm an orthopedic nightmare. Multiple knee surgeries on both knees beginning in 1979 when I was 15. I can't remember when my knees were good. I have put off replacements due to fear and pain. I finally had enough and was referred to Dr. Benton by another ortho that said "he was the best". He wasn't wrong. Best Dr. ever. He did bi-lateral knee replacements but stressed to me that if I did not follow through with rehab I would be less than my best. I did and I couldn't be happier. Sincerely a wonderful Dr. and a great guy. I would give him 100 stars if I could.

I have had problems with my right knee for over 25 years and at 71 it had finally reached the point that I had no choice but to have surgery. My first meeting with Dr. Benton went exceptionally well and I had confidence from the start that I was in the right hands. He took all the time I needed to explain the options that I could take along with the rather tough course of PT that I would need after surgery in order to have a solid recovery. I'm now 7 weeks after surgery and I have better mobility and stability than I have had in 25 years! The scar is already just a thin line and after many years my leg and knee are perfectly straight! I have several friends ask me how I could be doing so well after surgery and my answer is easy - I was blessed with a great surgeon!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Benton. He's been blessed with being a very skilled and exceptional surgeon with a compassion and genuine interest in his patients. I had a previous total knee replacement that didn't go as well as the surgery performed by Dr. Benton. If any of my children or grandchildren ever need orthopedic surgery, he would be the doctor we would entrust.
