From the first visit with Dr Lilly, I only have good things to say about him. He was professional, yet very personable. He carefully explained the hip replacement surgery that I needed and answered all questions that I had.At all the post-op visits, I never felt like I was being rushed. He showed me the x-rays, explained things to me in a way that I could understand. The best thing of all was I only had very little pain and that was in the first few days post-surgery. I had lived with hip pain for over ten years! Dr. Lilly came highly recommended to me and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a hip replacement. In my opinion, he is the best orthopedic doctor that I have ever dealt with.

I had a total knee replacement done by Dr Edward Lilly in September of 2023. He and his staff were excellent during the whole process. I was extremely satisfied with the care given me at Pardee Hospital also. I am very pleased with the way it healed and have just started the process to have my other knee replaced.

Dr. Lilly explained everything about my hip replacement surgery before the surgery and answered all my questions afterwards. It has been almost two months since the surgery and I am able to walk normally without pain and I just can't say enough about his ability as a surgeon. Happy to have found him. If you are looking at this surgery, call this man!

Dr. Lilly replaced my hip and the results were immediate relief of my pain, quick recovery and a year later I am doing great! He is awesome!

No one should have to redo a knee replacement in less than 2 years. That is what Dr. Lilly did to me. My built for me knee was to big, unstable and installed very sloppy according to the Dr. that did my revision. I reccomend Ortho Carolina in Charlotte.

Dr Lilly is sensitive to my needs, my being a life long athlete and outdoors enthusiast. He planned my recovery to ensure my best interest of safety in returning to activity. Very thorough, clear and especially personable in the hospital environment where one appreciates some empathy!

I have bilateral knee replacement by Dr Lilly, he advise me I could have both done at the same time and it was the best decision I could make. I had very little pain after the surgery and the scars were minimal. My recovery was very fast compared to others I have spoken to, I contribute this to Dr. Lilly’s excellent skill as a surgeon. The staff at EmergeOrtho were very helpful with getting through all the insurance obstacles and at the last minute got me physical therapy close to where I live. When coming in for appointments I never wait past my appointment time. I feel fortunate that Dr. Lilly was my surgeon.

I most definitely highly recommend Dr. Lilly to anyone who may be having issues within his specialty. I was involved in a serious car accident back in 2016. Have had multiple issues since. I recently started having problems with my knee, on the same leg I broke my femur. I went to one doctor who recommended cortisone shots. I had a second opinion done with Dr. Gregory Lavigne, who is with Southeastern Sports Medicine in Hendersonville. Dr. Lavigne was very friendly, but wanted to do a knee replacement, along with removing the rod from my femur. Keep in mind, I'm not even 40 years old yet. I decided to get another opinion, and Dr. Edward Lilly was who I chose. Best decision I could ever make. He didn't want to do a knee replacement, nor even mess with the rod in my femur. He went in my knee arthroscopically, took out two large loose bone fragments, which were causing me most of my pain and other issues. It took about 8 weeks for the pain and swelling from the surgery to go down, but now I can walk, hike, run, etc. thanks to Dr. Lilly. I can't even begin to explain how thankful I am for him. If you are on the fence about anything, I hope you choose Dr. Lilly for your orthopedic needs. The whole staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I would give more than 5 stars, if I could.

Dr. Lilly and his staff (Karen and Lee specifically) are absolutely the best. When in the exam room with you he listens to you, studies the condition and then gives you any and all options with recommendations on the best course of action. Everything went so well after my first full knee replacement I decided to have the other one done. I have recommended Dr. Lilly to anyone that tells me they are considering knee or hip replacement. When and if I need any orthopedic type surgery down the road I will certainly ask Dr. Lilly to be at my side. Thank you Dr. Lilly for helping make the these procedures as pleasant as possible.

I went over a year in pain, Dr Lilly replaced my knee and I haven’t had issues sense with that Knee he’s the best and yes I highly recommend him and his staff!

My experience with the full 3-d printed knee replacement has been a remarkable pleasure. We made our choice of surgeons by checking in with practitioners in the area who had worked with Dr. Lilly and/or his patients. They consistently spoke very highly of Dr. Lilly, his work and his team. Since making our choice, I too have nothing but praise for Dr. Lilly's skill and patient focus in helping me to full recovery. His team (and especially, Karen) have consistently provided us with all the information that we have needed through the process, and taken much time to resolve any concerns that have arisen. Choosing Dr. Lilly as my surgeon rather than someone closer by required we drive quite a few miles for appointments, etc. This has proven to be a wise choice, and a blessing.

If you’re looking for the best outcome for hip replacement, look no further. Dr. Lilly has expert knowledge, and skill plus an awesome bedside manner. He quickly makes you feel that you are the most important patient. He’s not rushed in his visits, he explains everything in detail. He presents exercises for a speedy recovery plus warnings to keep everything in its rightful place. He does a beautiful job.

Doctor Lily is caring and competent

Before being treated by Dr. Lilly I was completely immobile. I could not walk, anytime I put weight on my right leg I got severe pain up and down my leg. When I tried to walk I heard a grinding sound. 2 weeks ago Dr. Lilly replaced my right hip and my recovery has been nothing short of amazing. I can walk pain free without a walker or a cane. I can drive. It's only been 2 weeks and I can see that I'll be able to resume my active lifestyle in the near future. I highly recommend Dr. Lilly and his team.
