Dr Schultz had secured my medical records from out of state and taken the time to review them before my visit. He was knowledgeable and explained why he was going to do what he recommended. I appreciated being treated like a person and having my questions answered honestly.

Had another gastro doctor in Ft Wayne that was terrible with bedside manner. Dr Schultz was a pleasure every time I had to see him. Took the time to explain his diagnosis and answer any questions I had. Scheduling was a little on the lengthy side, but I feel that was the group he works with more than the doctor.

Office staff is rude and does not have the patients best interest in mind. Impossible to schedule an appointment unless you can wait 3 months.

Dr Schultz is so-so. If you could find a way to bypass the nurses and schedulers and just deal directly with him, he would probably be fine, but when you are critically ill with gastro problems and are told you will have to wait 6-8 weeks for an appointment to see the doctor its not a very good situation. If you are looking for a GI doctor, I would pass on Dr. Schultz.
