Dr Shafa did my first back. My second and third we’re done by someone else for insurance reasons. I returned to Dr Shafa for my fourth back surgery which was my most important. I had a fusion that went bad last year and ended up with a 52 mm bend in my spine and could hardly walk. Dr Shafa put me back together. So incredibly grateful for him and his staff! Incredible people!

Dr. Shafa was highly reccommended to me by two of his former patients, whom I know. So I was confident in his expertise. As a 73 year old, I was, at first, reluctant to have surgery. At our initial meeting I found him approachable, empathetic, and most certainly, knowledgeable. At my 6 week follow-up he answered all my questions, and helped me to trust the process. He also addressed my osteoporosis, with recommendations. Recovery has been supported by nurses just a phone call away. Healing takes time, and I am excited about the promise of pain free walking.

What an Absolutely amazing Dr. I had so much pain in my shoulder my arm my neck. My right arm would go numb constantly it was just all so Irritating until I found Dr.Shafa I no longer have any of these problems.
