Went to another surgeon first who recommended surgery for my carotid artery problems. Dr. Levy took a look at my problems and told me I didn't need surgery. Saved me tons of money and I am healthier than ever with a more conservative approach!

Attentive and highly skilled

Had a family member undergo a risky procedure with Dr. Levy, while we knew it was high risk the poor outcome was still a shock. We never heard from Dr. Levy afterwards and only spoke with his residents. It was very disheartening that such a renowned surgeon lacks bedside manner and empathy and never came to see us in the ICU.

Dr levy might be a great surgeon but it impossible to see him.His office staff and nurse practioners are afraid to make any decisions on there one. They keep you COMEING to useless office visits.

Dr. Levy performed surgery on my mom to correct her anerusym 12 years ago. I am in awe of the work he has done. He carefully explained everything before her surgery and talked with us about the procedure. If your looking for a Neurosurgeon He is the Man.

If you have a complex problem that involves more than 2 level nerve impingement and are on disability don't go there.I have three ruptured discs in low back and have 3 in neck with bone spurs pinching nerves on two more. They will tell you that there is nothing wrong and then call social security in you.they won't handle complex problems.

I couldn't be any more thankful to Dr. Levy and his staff for such amazing treatment before,during, and after having a craniotomy performed to remove a brain abscess. He and his staff were very thorough when explaining all information to me, and really made you feel as though you were in good hands and well taken care of.

On our initial visit Dr Levy took the time to insure that both my wife and I understood the procedure pro's and con's and time frame for recovery. Dr Levy and staff have been prompt and courtious each and everytime we contacted them even when her other medical problems were the issue. We will forever be Greatful to him and his staff.

overall experience is outstanding. Dr. Levy is extremely knowledgeable with strokes and was the only doctor to be able to find the cause of my VAD. Although I have not fully recovered from the effects of my illness, I have made huge progress in my recovery to which I credit Dr. Levy. The nursing, clerical and scheduling staff at UB Neurosurgery were always a step ahead, and made me feel as though I was their only patient. Dr. Levy removed the C6-C7 disk in my neck, which was herniated and placing an extremely painful amount of pressure on the nerve which travels down my right arm. Dr. Levy's surgery was an unbelievable success, and my quality of life has been restored. I would strongly recommend Dr. Levy to anyone with a similar injury, knowing that they would have similar results.
