Dr. Elliott Allen Meltzer, MD

He was my doctor for many years but some months ago I got a notice he was no longer associated with Dignity health and no body seems to know what happened to him. He was a great doctor and I miss him very much.

Dr meltzer as been my dr for about 20 years I would like to know if he is at a different location.with another healthplane.please let me know I'm scared of a change. my email is irenerey13@ yahoo.com.

I have received a letter from Dignity Health that you no longer work for them .You have been my doctor for about 18 years and I would like that to continue, Please let us know if you will be opening your practice. If I knew he was no longer going to be with Dignity Health I wouldn't have changed my insurance plan I guess I'll be changing to Kaiser Thanks. Patti Tudor

Apparently Dr. Meltzer is no longer my doctor and not affiliated with Dignity health group any longer. No notice, only found out because I received new insurance cards with a different doctor name. Very unprofessional but keeps with the long time theme of this organization. SMH

Dr, Meltzer is great has been my primary for over 20 years !!! Staff from Dignity Heath Care is a whole issue in it self. If it we not for seeing Dr. Meltzer I would have changed Dr's years ago.

Dr. Meltzer is great. His staff on the other hand is horrible. I have been waiting 4 weeks for them to submit paperwork to my insurance so that I can get the medication they prescribed. I have left numerous messages with his assistant and Sandra the referral person and no one has returned these calls. My insurance company has left many messages with no return call. Dr. Meltzer needs to retrain or replace his office staff! Very unprofessional!

I did not receive quality care from this provider. Medical staff call themselves nurses, but they are medical assistants only....

Meltzer's staff is incompetent and rude. He missed a serious heart condition that was only caught by his PA. I then required open heart surgery because the condition had deteriorated. He routinely fails to send referrals for secondary doctors. I am lucky I am not dead.

Have been with Dr. Meltzer for 29 yrs. No complaints. excellent Doctor, Great staff.

This is the single worst doctor I have ever been to. His front office staff are extremely rude. The nurses, including the nurse practicioner are rude and horribly abrasive. Avoid at all costs.

Dr. Meltzer is great but his staff are a different story. i have been waiting for over a month for them to fax my refferal authorization. I have been waiting over 2 weeks for them to submit paperwork to the pharmacy. i have called them many times and each time i call i am on hold for 15 minutes or more. when i finally do talk with a staff member they blame everyone else for the mix up instead of taking responsibility and getting it fixed. I am tired of spending numerous hours on the phone trying to do the job that they should have done weeks ago. Dr Meltzer, please review your staff and make changes!

Take more than three week to fill out state dissability paperwork. Nurses always talking about personal business while patients are waiting to get their attention. When answering the phone you have to wait more than 15 minutes most of the time. I do not recommend this office unless he hets rid of this lazy personnel. I have to add Dr. Meltzer is a heck of a doctor and His assistant is a great also. But I won't go back if this ladies at the front desk are there
