Dr. Perez is not only a superb general practitioner, he is also an effective health coach. My husband is difficult following suggestions to maintain his health, but with Dr. Perez, he takes his advice to heart.

Dr Perez and his staff have guided my husband and I through many difficult situations. My husband has diabetes and I have serious mood problems. You can't ask for any better team.

Dr. Perez has been my PCP for @3yrs now. He always spends enough time with me to answer all my questions, and explain anything I may not understand. Anytime I need to be referred to a different doctor, he finds doctors who share his work ethics. He makes sure that at every appointment he has all the reports from any doctors or blood work I have had done, between visits. I have a condition known as RSD, he is very familiar with the condition and works hand in hand with my pain management doctor. If I do not have a scheduled appointment but need to see Dr. Perez, his office staff always seems to find a way to fit me in the same day. I am pleased with Dr. Perez and his genuine concern for my well being.

Dr Perez literally saved me when I bled out. I have been with him for several years. He is amazing and dedicated. However, after a serious accident, I returned to see him after not seeing him for over 9 months with my usual monthly followup visits and, he walked in, went to the computers and said my labs looked great and return next month. And left. I was using a walker, had a foot cast on, and not one single question or concern for my injury. Neither did he ask about it or ask to check me out because he was my PCP...absolutely nothing. I was broken hearted. I wrote him, expressed my concern and how hurt I was, and he never even responded with a note or a quick phone call. What does that tell me....and what does that tell you? To this day, my heart is still heavy because he is a great doctor but why he this happened...perhaps he had a bad day...which is what I thought and I thought for sure he would call and state how sorry he was. When I contacted the office weeks later and stated I will be searching for a new PCP, he still did not call. Maybe he knew he did wrong and just could not admit to it or accept that he had poor judgement.

Dr. Perez is a very friendly provider, but that does not help paients in need of medical attention. I have been a patient of Dr. Perez for approximately 2yrs. In the beginning when all I needed was medication refills he was very eager to see me every 3 months. The first time I had a medical compliant he increased my follow up from 3 to 4 months. The next time I returned with multiple medical issues he again increase my follow up visits from every three months to now 6 months. So the less complaints the more he wants to see you, the more complaints the less he wants to see you. I have been dealing with a medical issue I addressed with him almost 2 yrs ago that he insist will go away without medical assistance. The last time I addressed with him he informed give it a year and if it has not resolved we will do something about it. I work in the medical profession and I am very aware of what quality care is supposed to look like.

I had a condition that Doctors told me was othing to worry about. Dr Perez took the time to really find out what was going on and referred me to a specialist which in turn tod me that I had chronic HEP B. If he did not take the time to review my stats and send me to a specialist I might not be here today. Awesome Doctor!!

This was the worst doctor I have ever seen. I was visiting the area from California and had to see someone quickly. He was the least compassionate and competent doctor I have ever experienced. Kept running down the hall to other patients leaving me waiting in the room. Spent 10 minutes with me, took blood pressure which was very high but then decided I was "depressed" so prescribed anti-depressants with no referral to a pyschiatrist! Could care less about evaluating me properly, just wanted to get me out of the room so he could see other patients. Never followed up in any way. His office staff was the rudest I have ever encountered. Florida medical standards obviously much lower overall than anyplace I have ever visited. Do not recommend him.

Fantastic doctor. Spends time to listen to you and discuss options with you. It is worth the wait time as he will spend time with you. Very happy to have him.
