Dr. Eric A Spencer, MD

My husband was being seen this was his second time in the emergency room that day, for stomach bug an his usual panic attacks... this (doctor) came in and you could obviously see he wanted to be done quickly with my husband since he was in the ER earlier that day. So he gave a fast quick sulution diagnosis took 15 seconds of him in the room which was his scapegoat and he knew it. I called him out on his escape goat after he started saying some unappropriate and unprofessional words to me for about 7 minutes he verbally attacked me (not his patient). I strongly feel within the first couple of minutes he picked up that I have mental illnesses and he use that for his ammunition. Mr. Spencer ended up calling me literally ignorant, not once but twice. I asked him several times to stop talking to me and leave me alone, I was not his patient and to please please be a doctor and help my husband, so after he stomped around wheeled his stool back and fourth at me he huffed and puffed he left the room. So then I asked the nurse if I could speak with the emergency room manager supervisor or assistant manager she said sure I'll be right back, then Mr. Spencer came back in arguing with me some more about 5 minutes this time, first thing put of his mouth was Do you even know the definition of the word ignorant and when I told him yes and explained the definition he smirked and look surprised that I knew what it was... he then proceeded to tell me that Doctors do not have any bosses what so ever, that they are their own boss and he was untouchable. Do not let this guy treat you or your loved ones like this, sure I am no doctor but I am not iggnorant by far.

My Wife and I come in to the hospital at around 12:30 a.m. After my Wife's blood pressure was taken, outside of the room, Mr. Spencer opens the curtain, rubbing one eye as if we woke him up from a nap. Next, my Wife tells Mr. Spencer that her back is hurting so badly that it feels like something is jabbing at her heart. My Wife explains to Mr. Spencer that, she she has a compression fracture at the top of her back (from previous years) and a spinal fusion and a decompressed disc at her lower back, also from a few years ago. Mr. Spencer specifically tells my Wife and I that, "because you walked in here and you're NOT paralyzed, there is nothing I can do for you."
