Overall GREAT experience. She was very nervous getting out of the car but even the front staff made her feel comfortable. The nursing staff was amazing! They explained absolutely every step and directed all information to her as well as us (parents). That made her more comfortable. I loved the fact that dr Potthoff came in beforehand to speak with us and her and asked if we had questions. And then spoke with just us afterwards to explain again what happened. The Dr then came and saw my daughter after she woke up and explained everything directly to her. This amazed me! How very thoughtful and dedicated a surgeon to spend the extra time to speak with all of us 3 seperate times. I absolutely loved using the surgery center and would highly recommend it to anyone. I even received a phone call the next day to follow up on how she was doing. What a great experience and an amazing staff! Thank you Thank you for a wonderful experience!!!

Always highly efficient,in all aspects with Dr.Potthoff and staff. I had knee replacement surgery 3wks 4days ago and using a cane now.I recommend him to everyone.

I have had multiple surgeries with Mercy and the Surgical Center and have always felt like they were professionals and were very attentive to my comfort, informing me of what was to come and have never had a negative result whether it be with the surgery itself or just interacting with the staff.

I always have an excellent experience with the Orthopedic dept. whenever I have appointments. Dr. Potthoff explains all the options that are there for my hip and always is very thorough.

This was a follow up visit from knee replacement. Dr, Potthoff was informative and answered my questions and referred me to a neurologist for further canalization of a dropped foot problem. The nurse took out some stitches and was gentle. A good visit on a whole.

Had my consultation for a right hip replacement. Had no wait time for either xray and appointment which was rare but nice. Even back in room had little wait time. My questions and concerns were answered.

Diagnosis and appropriate treatment was swift. Dr. Potthoff quickly recognized the problem...bursitis...and a cortisone shot was administered. Relief came within two days and continues thus far. Everyone with whom I had contact during my appointment was efficient, caring and friendly. Glad I was referred here!

I went in for a shoulder consultation. The Dr examined me, answered my questions, and we came up with a treatment plan and follow-up date. The visit was exactly as I expected, and the staff was very kind! I had almost no wait when I arrived. They were ready for me within a couple of minutes of checking in.

Dr. Potthoff took the time to explain what was going on with my knee and thought the proper treatment would be to have an injection. He also said I could return in 3 months for another injection if I felt the need. Staff were very friendly and courteous and I did not feel rushed through the appointment.

Scheduled appointment was handled promptly. Doctor listened, examined X-rays, gave options, and let me make my own choice. Treatment gave relief within a few hours. I am a very happy patient and I will go back if further treatment is needed.

I was very pleased with the hospital staff and Dr.Potthoff. Dr. Potthoff and his team were very polite, courteous and concerned about my recovery while I was a patient at the hospital and the 2 follow up visits that I have had with him since surgery. I would recommend Dr. Potthoff to anyone requiring joint replacement surgery.

This was my checkup 6 weeks after my rotator cuff surgery. I feel it went very well. I appreciate the caring way Dr. Potthoff explained things to me. He gave me the good news that I could stop wearing the sling and should start therapy. He also explained very well what I should not be doing with the shoulder on which surgery was done. I also appreciate his quick response to my questions about problems with my hip. My thanks to him again for his caring treatment.

Everything went fine. Woke up fast, the staff was awesome. Called me the next day to see how I was doing. It hurt really bad the next day, but everything was better later that day. I had a very good outcome so far.

I was given a cortisone shot in the left hip for pain in my buttocks and left hip. The pain went away after a few hours and I have been able to walk up and down stairs etc. without any pain. Excellent results. I had a cortisone shot a year ago at your office and had the same results until a month or so ago when it really started in with pain again. It is an awesome drug.

Dr. Potthoff gave me cortisone shots in both knees. I had been having pain for several weeks and by the next morning the pain was considerably less and I was able to walk and sleep again. Thank you Dr. Potthoff!
