Dr. Eric Jason Stelnicki, MD

My daughter had a small procedure done February 2021. Billing codes changed from estimate and bill to insurance was 10 times the amount going from $900.00(nine hundred) to $10,000. Spent many hours working out billing situation from April 2021 through January 2023. The office staff is terrible. Absolutely awful. In 2021 and 2023, even with staff change and a staffer that's been there 20 years. They do not return calls and are only good at 'putting out fires' when patients are fed up with trying to get anyone to respond. The PA and Dr. Kamel are good and they take the time to answer questions. We only saw Dr. Stelnicki the day of surgery. Dr. Stelnicki skills are good.

My gradaughter was born with Chromosome 18, which caused bi lateral cleft lip, and very little pallet at all. Over the past years Dr. Stelnicki and his staff have worked miracles for my granddaughter, and that is important for a grandmother that is raising her grandchild. The staff has always gone out of their way to make sure Makayla had appointment where she needed them, handled all of the insurance with ease. With numerous surgeries already, she still loves to go to see Dr. Stelnicki and Joe DiMaggio. I want to thank all of them for making her feel loved, welcome and making her beautiful!

I'm really happy w the results of my kid surgery, the Doctor made a an incredible job w mi son finger reconstruction. He is already recovered and he is able to move his thumb. He is doing therapy and has a splint to keep the thumb straight. I really recommend this Doctor. And the team it's awesome.

I would not recommend this doctor because of his staff. They are rude and act like they are doing you a favor to treat your child. First you have to drive all over South Florida to be seen, then they hassle you about your insurance, cancel appts and surgeries without informing you. Side note: They treat children and their bathroom doesn't have a changing table or room for a stroller (forget about soap and paper towels)!! When we saw the doctor he rattled off the diagnosis and treatments quickly and barely looked at my baby. I cannot comment on Stelnecki for surgery because we had to stop treatment in the middle and find another doctor. If you want to be treated like a person and your child to be treated with love find another doctor. His staff is atrocious.

Very rude discourteous staff. Follow up skills are non existent and they totally blow you off and leave you feel like your begging them to be his patient. I am baffled that anyone could run a business with staff like this, especially a business that specializes in pediatric. surgery. Save yourself the headache and look around.

Dr. Stelnicki has been an asset to our Craniofacial Team. He takes the time to explain things and looks out for his young patients. He performed surgery on my son at 8 weeks and 10 months and there's no one else I would trust to hand my child over to. He was thorough, informative and in touch with all of the doctors involved through the whole process.

All he wants is your insurance money, dishonest and carless

Dr. Stelnicki and his staff were great. My child had very large ears. He performed surgery on them and now they look normal. His self confidence has improved and now his is not afraid to cut his hair. Thank you Dr. Stelnicki!

Dr. Stelnicki helped us so much. My child had a cleft and he repaired it to the point that you cannot tell there was a cleft at all. I have seen other kids with clefts treated by other Drs and my child is by far one of the best I have seen. I highly recommend him

My childs face was completely destroyed by a hemangioma. We tried Propranolol but my kid stopped eating and had heart problems on the medicine. Dr. Stelnicki treated the problem with simple laser and injections. Now my child can breath, the bleeding stopped, and his face looks normal. I highly recommend this doctor

I cannot say enough good things about this doctor. Before seeing him we saw multiple other doctors who did their best for our child with a cleft lip and palate, but the results were average at best. Dr. Stelnicki took on my child with a fresh approach and within a few surgeries changed my child's entire life. Before him my child had problems communicating with other and had few friends. Now my child's face is in balance, he talks normally, and is accepted by everyone around him. This man changed our life for the better. I recommend him without any hesitation.

Dr. Stelnicki may have a longer wait time than others but it is definitely worth it. It's because he is the BEST! He is so well trained and comes with so much experience. In regards to others saying it is only a business, that is a lie. Once you see the way he treats you and talks to your child, you know he really cares. He is the best in his field for a reason! He has helped our family and so many others so many times. He is truly passionate about children and his work. We love him.

Our son has received Dr. Stelnicki's services for two diagnoses: 1)plagiocephaly with treatment via Cranial Kids, Inc. (6-14 mos), and 2)trigger thumb with surgical treatment via Dr. Stelnicki at Joe Dimaggio Childrens' Hospital (4 years). Overall, we are very confident in Dr. Stelnicki, and his staff, in providing us with excellent service. Dr. Stelnicki is approachable, personable and very knowledgeable. His office visits are quick, so make sure you have any questions prepared ahead of time. The staff are professional, appointments usually start no more than 15 minutes late. He quickly built a friendly rapport with our son, who has been successfully treated both times!! Suggestions: -list all questions ahead of time. -ask who you can speak to, if you have any follow-up questions. Plagiocephaly & Trigger Thumb: - join blogs, yahoo groups, etc..for lists of questions to ask & support. - Ask the Dr's staff if you can contact other patients who have had similar experiences.

What an amazing experience. You can tell he has kids and cares about children! We had an amazing experience in the office and the surgical results were great. We highly recommend this doctor to anyone who has a child in need.

Dr. Stelnicki is an excellent plastic surgeon, extremely knowledgable and caring. When it comes to your children you want the best, and Dr. Stelnicki is the best, a doctor in which you can trust. He has done a tremendous job with my son, exceeded my expectations. I would recommended him to any parent that is looking for a plastic surgeon for their kid, he has extreme knowledge on the latest techniques and he is a doctor that will always put the patients best interest as a priority.

My experience at Dr. Stelnicki's office was excellent. His staff was fast and efficient which I appreciate as a business professional myself. He quickly diagnosed my child's problem and laid out an organized treatment plan. His surgical skills were second to none. We had a great result and a great experience. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Stelnicki is a very good surgeon. It was a quick and easy visit which is just what i needed. I was in and out of the office with sufficient information. Post operative care was amazing. Cant complain!

Dr Stelnicki and his staff are excellent! In my opinion the doctor is very knowledgeable, he takes the time to explain procedure, length of stay in hospital, follow up, and make recommendations for other specialist if necessary, to me and age appropriately to my child. His bedside manner is also excellent, the care and concern he show towards me and my child, makes me feel so at ease, he is great with my daughter and she is very comfortable around him. As a parent this is very important in the care of my child. Both his medical and administrative staff, the ones I have dealt with, have always been helpful and curious. Appointment scheduling and wait time are my greatest pet peeves. He works from different offices so be prepared to have you consultation in one office,and depending on the timing, your follow up in another office. The wait time varies the shortest 5 minutes and the longest over an hour I have been at both extremes, with an average of 30 minutes.
