Horrible experience! He looked at old information in the system on me to begin with.I told him about my blood pressure along with showing VERY detailed notes.He told me my BP machine is unreliable.Well I am in healthcare myself and yes you can use a wrist cuff for BP IF use correctly! He didn’t ask my history and again was reviewing old history. He asked about OLD Rx. He didn’t exam me! He told me that we would NOT be a good fit and I agreed 100%! I am VERY on top of my healthcare. Ask my history, do a physical exam, engage with your patient. Establish a baseline! I was NOT listened to. No physical exam performed. I was told to see a psychiatrist yet you know nothing about me. I was told about Rx that he would not prescribe…I didn’t ask for anything! In my professional experience he is the rudest, most arrogant and uncaring doctor I have ever met. He made me feel BLACK! I don’t know how he has high reviews but I am telling you the reality of my experience. I was truly left speechless! UT has excellent physicians BUT they dropped the ball with this guy!

I had my first appointment with Dr. Blacher today and I have to say, " He's a breathe of fresh air in the medical community."Dr. Blacher was so friendly and kind. He asked me pertinent questions and made excellent recommendations for testing. I can't express how happy I am to find a Dr. that not only listens but seems to actually care.
