Dr. Severude has an Awesome Demeanor and is Very Patient with Questions and Concerns. I would Strongly Recommend Him and His Office for Outstanding Care and Professionalism. Fantastic Experience with 2 knee Replacements.

This was my second knee replacement. He also did my broken wrist i have always been treated respectfully with kindness and concern for my feelings. Answered all questions and did not rush. He is a wonderful dr !

He is the best Ortho Surgeon I’ve visited. Also very accommodating and friendly with veterans. He listens to all needs and concerns. His stuff they all are true professionals.

Easy access to office plenty of parking. Office personnel friendly and very helpful. Nurses and Dr. Severud very friendly a pleasant experience.

In the past 3 years, Dr Severud has done 4 joint replacements for me. I can’t say enough how great my surgeries went! I received top notch care from him & his staff. Highly recommended without a doubt.

Dr. Severud and his staff are amazing! I can't say enough good things about him...he is very down to earth, friendly, and appointments are made promptly. Dr Severud (and Craig) have been very informative and I feel absolutely 100% confident in his ability to successfully perform my hip and knee replacement. I haven't had any more than a 2 week waiting time for appts with him. He doesn't mess around with getting you out of pain asap! I just love all of the healthcare I've received in Hutchinson since I ditched almost all of my providers at SRHC! WAY TO GO HUTCHINSON KS!

Great doctor and staff. Have had rotator cuff and knee surgery. Excellent results both times!

First, how old is that picture? The doc is good at what he does. Everyone in the office were polite and helpful. My surgery went well and this was my final checkup. I still have months til full recovery but thanks to the doc's skills and the PT staffs knowledge of what was needed to get me back to where I could function normally again l give them two thumbs up ????

The fact that he discriminates against overweight individuals and won't do surgeries because he had one poor experience with someone who had health issues & him almost coding. Ridiculous! Such a privileged move from a man of privilege! I don't have health issues. It's a slap in a face? That armband blood pressure cuff is and was never great to place on Anyones lower arm! Just saying!! Because i did not have nor ever have had high blood pressure! I can't wait to discuss this when i attend speak about this at our naacp and community meeting! So no I won't give a good review! Its his office yes! He has a right to his opinion yes! But so do I! And I believe its extremely prejudice, discriminatory, against overweight individuals! Lumping all overweight individuals into the category if "they might die during surgery because they're fat" is labeling and Stereotyping those individuals! I originally heard good things about him, I didn't pay attention to the fact that no one was overweight! Not to mention that my appointment was at 3:30pm which was I told to be there 15 minutes before and yes, I was 3 minutes late. I got there at 3:17 PM. Yet he didn't even read X-ray prior to my visit, that his office ordered until right before he came in to see me. Then my best friend who happens to be a nurse, was there with me. We waited for 2 hours and no one come back into the exam room until 5:20pm. As my best friend was leaving to stop at the yoder store to pick up my grocery order. Because they were closing at six, she asked what time was Severud office closing? She was told 5p. ?? yet im still in there not being seen. Finally at 521p the PA comes in, completed ROM on my arm and shoulder explained the doctor was running behind. At that point I'm ok with waiting because there was minimal contact. 3 minutes later Dr. Severud arrives. Does ROM on the same injured arm again asking do i have any health issues, i reply NO! Now, let's be clear, I'm overweight, yes. I have no absolutely no health issues other than being overweight! I don't have high cholesterol, I don't have sleep apnea. I don't have thy Blood Pressure. But because I'm overweight and due to a past male patient almost coding on him in a surgery. All overweight people are off limits!!! How ignorant!! No fat people he cant help our injuries!! Please find somewhere else to go. Because yes, I appreciate his honesty that doesn't make discrimination ok! If you can't do my surgery, why take my insurance bill it and take my copay? You should've seen my chart prior to me arriving saw my weight prior to entering the exam room! Most professional doctors do that correct? Next time dont touch people! My shoulder hurt worse after twice the ROM when you knew full well you had zero interest in performing my surgery! I will never discriminate, label, Stereotype nor marginalize others based off my experience with another! That's extremely ignorant, even for a Surgeon supposedly dedicated his profession! Feels like he purposely waited for my friend who's a nurse to leave to say this!!

Tkr 'sloppy' - have to redo

He seems to have a problem taking care of his patients pain levels and it is a constant battle to get him to take listen to your needs and get meds filled. It's a stuggle EVERY time and ends up taking days to get meds filled. I have suffered terribly while doctoring with this idiot. I have had 3 knee surgery's done by him AND a knee replacement and it has been the worst experience of my life! I wouldn't recommend his services to ANYONE period! His staff is hateful and the Dr. acts as if he is above all. His PA does most of his work and acts as if he is very unhappy as well! I will never go back nor would I ever refer!
