Dr. Erin Kathleen Pennison, MD

I've been a patient for 10 years and I loved her at first. As I've gotten older, I've had lots of issues with my cycle, hot flashes, being tired, insomnia, etc. I'd mention these at my yearly visits, and she'd always repeat the median age for menopause was 51, and it lasts from about 48-51, so I wasn't quite there yet. I was 44/45. Never tested hormones or had any suggestions other than it might be my thyroid or maybe I had cysts. Once after I told her about some of my issues, she actually told me to just go back if it got to where I couldn't stand it anymore. After 3-4 visits, she finally ran labs just to rule that out before scheduling and u/s because she thought for sure I must have a big cyst -- and surprise -- I am in full menopause! I suffered for years through perimenopause and she totally missed that and just kept implying I wasn't old enough for the change. I also have terrible bladder issues that I now suspect are menopause related and she gave me medicine to try once. It did not work well and she offered no other solutions. She was so great at first but now I think it's time to find a new doctor.

My daughter was a patient of Dr Pennison an employee of Dr Pennison shared/exposed my daughter s medical records calledd her office a few times no one ever returned my calls , Employee still works here ! Medical records are not save here !! DIRTY not professional

I like the way she speaks with me. My mom told me to go see her for a second opinion. She didn't want to butcher me like the other lady doctor a couple of blocks away. She is very prompt and the waiting time isn't too long. I'm not there forever like the other gyn. doctor.

She was very rude.......wasn't very gentle with the pelvic exam and really dismissive when I told her it hurt.
