Dr. Faraz Manazir, MD

Dr. Manazir told my dad 4 years ago that he needed to wait until he had a heart attack or stroke to do any surgery on his heart. Here we are four years later, we go to Iowa City and the results came back his heart arteries are 75% clogged. Go to Iowa City and get checked out do not trust the Quad City doctors. Especially not this so-called doctor.

I've been a patient of Dr. Manazir for over 13 years. I have not been dissatisfied with his service at any time. He is a very likeable doctor. IMO, all the complaints about him not being there may be valid, but also unfair. I say unfair because they don't know why he was late. He could have had his own emergency. Sure, I've sat in the exam room waiting for him a few times, but I really don't mind. He is most likely spending time with his patients who have just as many concerns and questions as you or I do. If you think about it, someone else is probably waiting for him to be done with YOU. Would you rather have him attend to your concerns or just push you aside because of another's appointment schedule?

My appt was at 8 am. By the time I was taken into an exam room, bp taken, forms filled out etc. It was 820 am. No dr. at 825 am....I asked where the dr is? NOT IN YET!! I said I would wait 5 more min, and then I would have to reschedule. I walked out of the office stating I need a rescheduled appt. Please make it when the dr is actually going to be here. My time is valuable too.
