Dr. Ferdinand Lim Tan, MD

We have been his patient for so many years and he is an excellent Doctor. He listens to his patients and very compassionate. He has great personality. We were sad that during our earlier years with him we have to change doctor because we change our health insurance.

Dr. Tan has been my primary care physician for over 2 years. I am a retired physician myself having practiced as a Neurologist. I have numerous medical issues after my stroke and Dr. Tan has a very pleasant personality. He cares about me and has made appropriate referrals when needed. He is thorough and has a likeable personality. His medical knowledge is excellent. Getting my appointments at his UMC clinic is relatively easy and the staff is very pleasant. Dr. Tan has been my primary doctor for the past 9 years. He is very compassionate and is genuinely concerned about his patients. He is thorough and takes the time to listen to your medical issues.

The staff is rude. Phone calls and voice mails are not returned. Referrals and test results are not sent in a timely manner or at all. Dr. Tan will just give you antibiotics and send you out the door without any follow up then it takes another 3 weeks to get another appointment. For your own sake I emplore you to seek out another primary care doctor.
