Dr. Firas Atallah Zayed Rabi, MD

I have seen a handful of pediatricians, and Dr. Rabi is by far my favorite. He is wonderful with my older children and he treats my newborn as if he was his own. I highly recommend him for your children!

We're so happy we started seeing Dr. Rabi. He's very attentive, thorough in his exam, and makes my teenage son feel like he is a part of his health instead of ignoring him and just talking to his parents. We will be telling all our friends that we have found the perfect pediatrician.

I made a last minute appointment so was not bothered that i had to wait an hour to see dr. Rabi. The staff worked to squeeze me in on a saturday so i was grateful. Dr. Rabi is very outgoing and really nice. He was very sweet and gentle with my daughter and she really liked him. He took the time to explain my daughters illness to me and i really appreciated it. I definitely recommend Dr. Rabi!

My son had his yearly physical. Dr. Rabi is new to the practice so we were not sure what to expect. He was very professional, informative, funny, engaging, and took his time which I appreciated. My son said he really liked him. I recommend him highly.

He cared for our son and was very helpful. He made us feel relaxed eventhough our child was sick. Dr. Rabi clearly knows his stuff. Our son was back to himself within hours.

My daughter has been diagnosed with a rare autoimmune condition and has suffered all the known complications both from the disease and from the various drugs that she has had to use to keep her disease under control. She's been an inpatient at UIHC for several months and I feel some doctors have "given up" when it comes to taking care of my daughter. When Dr. Rabi comes on-service he comes into our room and discusses all aspects of my daughter's care with both of us. He is not afraid to make dramatic changes and we've noticed that when he is on-service there is the most dramatic progress in terms of my daughter's care. In the two weeks he is working, he achieves what it takes other physicians months to achieve. All while he is very compassionate and caring for our daughter. It is no wonder he is our favorite doctor and we are always waiting for him to come back on.
