Who tells me what happened to me didn't happen? Dr. Glynn. Who treats patients less then? Dr. Glynn. She told me that I was more mentally il then brain injuried. I had a level one brain injury and another STBI 3 months after my DABI. Dr. Glynn doesn't know about brain injuries and didn't know how to do a Brain Exam in her office and instead laughs me out of her office. Her staff did the same. would try to find any other doctor you could inswtead of Dr. Glynn.

Thinking of what Dr. Gl;ynn did to me in her office. She told me that I was more mentally ill then brain damaged? What doc tor tells their patient that their level one brain injury didn't happen? Dr. Glynn does with a smile on her face? This doctor did and laughed at me and make fun of how my brain works after chronic brain injuries..............Dr. Glynn's office staff was the worst but because they followed her behavior.

Finally after searching for years I found a fantastic Primary Care Doc!!

I have only had a couple of visits with Dr. Glynn and am someone who is leery of doctors, but she is amazingly relatable. No matter how busy she may be, I would never know. She seems completely focused on me and how I am in all aspects of my life--body of course, but also mind and spirit! I expect my doctor to be smart, which she obviously is. I want to feel my doctor truly cares about me and I have that with Dr. Glynn. I would want her to care for my mother or spouse and recommend her without reservation! She is truly a gem!

Dr. Glynn and her staff laughed at me and my level one brain injuries. Interfered with medical treatment because of not being educated about brain injury or the laws protecting me from the type of mistreatment I suffered when I was a patient of hers. I believe she even interred with my treatment at UVA. She had a stff of mean women that got away with making fun of my disability. This doctor and her staff scared me for life, They should look up what happens when a pinto is t-boned at 55 mph. My brain swelled to where my Blood Brain barrier was breached twisting, sheering and tearing my brain leaving me with grand mal seizures for the next 11 years by Dr. Donald Becker, at MCV. Dr. Glynn discounted me and my real brain issues because of her lack of care for me or the pain and suffering and rehab and long term effects because of her lack of knowledge or compassion for her patient. I would look for another doctor if I were you.

If you don’t mind being talked down to then give her a shot. She speaks to you as though you are clueless about you own health issues and when you try and explain she down plays yours issues.

I have OCD and chronic brain injury that needs understanding by my PC and they instead make fun of me and risk my life do to their Jrl High school treatment instead of medical treatment. Instead of knowing that I was going into flare ups and unable to talk or move, they label me a difficult patient and drop me in the middle suffering getting over heated while in work shop and because of brain injuries not being able be aware of it, developing another kidney stone. Blood Pressure of 170 over 102, going to the ER to get checked out and they give me fluids and tell me to return to doctor in a week. I am too afraid to call and make the appointment because of how the office belittles me and my brain, the ER staff calls and does it for me and when go for the appointment I am made fun of. Dr. Glynn decides to drop me instead of educating herself and staff about STBI and what 2 MS doctors find in their reports that Dr. Glynn turns into a mental illness instead of treating me like a human being what has beat the odds after being covered up for 20 minutes in 1976 then saved by the police department and lying in a Coma for 28 days with a smashed pelvis and crushed hip and swelling brain only to be discounted and treated like I didn't have any value at all except to be laughed at.

Dr. Gylnn doesn't understand post brain injuries and I felt less then when I was in her office. She once held my arm so tight while trying to take my blood pressure because she didn't understand my problems with my short term memory. I just recently saw her after getting overheated and she didn't believe my story of my head being so heavy I couldn't raise it and had to crawl on the ground to get to my house because of being over heated. I have a history of chronic kidney stones that shut down my right kidney and half that kidney is dead because of Johnson Willis hospital sending me home when a kidney stone was blocking urine from passing threw my kidney. She sided with doctors there instead of taking my word about my level one brain injury and kidney issues when I saw her after getting getting over heated. I ended up going to the ER for fluids and she scolded me like I was a child when I had been told by my kidney specialist that if I couldn't urinate or had kidney pain to go to the ER. This doctor and the front staff belittled me and questioned my medical history then told me they were advocates of mine. Instead of helping me with my lesions and scare tissue on my brain stem and brain pon and mid-brain that causes problems for me, she told me I was mentally ill. This is abusive of my real disabilities and I am the one who suffered from her chip on her shoulder........

I'm 60yr female I've been seeing Dr.Glynn since I turned 44yrs old. She cares, listens, hears what I'm saying & asks questions so I know she understands what I'm trying to explain. I respect her time and her other patients waiting so I try to not go off on a tangent!! Dr Glynn has never made me feel rushed. I respect her immensely!!!!'

She has been my primary care physician for approx. 10 years. I love her! She has great people skills... and bedside manner.

Dr. Glynn was competent, professional and friendly. However, getting a new patient appointment requires a 3-4 month wait. Also, a new patient appointment is billed to your insurance company as such, which means that for me, only about half of it was covered. When you consider that the fee was $455, not counting initial tests, you may begin to see the problem. All told, after my insurance had paid its part, I paid close to $500 out of pocket. Additionally, after speaking to the billing department, I found that any visit, including annual physicals that other doctors bill as preventative care, would be billed as medical treatment (more expensive and not fully covered by at least my employer's insurance) if Dr. Glynn discussed with me any medical condition requiring continuing treatment. Given that I have high cholesterol and a family history of heart disease and diabetes through several generations, I will always be given medication and "medical treatment." In other words, I would probably never qualify for a preventative visit. A medical treatment visit can cost anywhere between $150-$225. My former doctor, who is not covered by my employer's new insurance, only charges $81 for an annual visit, and has never considered prescribing me a statin to be "medical treatment." Even without insurance, my physicals with him will be less expensive for care that is absolutely as thorough and good. So, while I was happy with the service and thoroughness of the annual exam, I just don't think she was worth the amount of money I was required to pay out of pocket. Off I go back to my previous doctor!

I have been a patient for at least 15 years. I find Dr. Glynn to be the best! She listens, she explains and never seems hurried to move to the next one. I hope I can keep her forever, even once I am on Medicare! She is like a friend!

I found Dr. Glynn to be knowledgeable, interestedin my problem, friendly manner, made me feel very comfortable for my first time visit.The office staff is very efficient, I was takenon time and waited only a few minutes for thedoctor to enter my room.I am very happy that I am now a patient of Dr. Glynn's.
