A total jerk, lied, cause me a deal of pain

He told me I have a torn labrum, and sent me packin. I asked for NON-narcotic methods of pain control. He could have cared less that I can't sleep at night. Told me to go to physical therapy, which I knew, but if I can't sleep because it hurts and I have to wait to get in to PT. Till then, SUFFER. That's how much he cares.

Dr. Bonnarens performed a mumford surgery on my shoulder a few years ago. I had three tears in my shoulder, my outter bicep muscle was torn from the bone, and the tendon was unable to reattatch. I was moving my shoulder in a few days and I have not had one minute of trouble since then. I love this doctor! He is the best!

If I could give him NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD!!! On bedside manner...time spent....accurate diagnosis!

A completely narcissistic, egotistical and rude a-hole. He has no business treating people or interacting with them. A total disgrace to the medical profession.

Had a frozen shoulder and have been treated for a few years .he is to the point and doesn't sugar coat anything .I was a tough case and I'm happy with the range of motion I have.I'm not perfect.but I can do a lot more

Misdiagnosed by another dr. Went to see him he told me immediately what the "real" problem was & how to fix it. He is wonderful! A wonderful surgeon! He does speak very quickly. He doesn't sugar coat things. He lays everything out on the table & does exactly what he saids he will do. I have a very high respect for him. I have sent several family/friends to him...again everyone loves him. As for the other reviews yep, pain pill seekers or upset b/c he didn't tell them what they wanted to hear. He will NOT do anything that isn't necessary & it will be done the right way. He is a veteran of our Military! Sorry if he didn't "baby" you & treat you like a king/queen! He is a Specialist! He's a wonderful doctor! Want pampered? Go to a Spa! (2 shoulder surgeries perfectly preformed!) Thank you Dr. Bonnerans!

I saw Dr Bonnarens for a shoulder injury. I fell outside while gardening. He ordered a MRI and what he thought was wrong was wrong. He fixed my shoulder and now my left shoulder is better then my right shoulder. I did what he told me to do and it is better now. I read the prior reviews and my opinion is that they did not do what he told them to do or just wanted pain meds. I would go back to him in a heartbeat.

The staff was really sweet and caring. I was impressed on how the doctor told me what was wrong and how to fix it. He did not try to mask my symptoms with pain meds. Would recommend to anyone.

I have never in my life seen such an uncaring individual in person. I sat back and listened to him and had to close my mouth. Part of being a good doctor is bedside manner, of which he has NONE.

I went to see Dr. Bonnerans just over 3 months ago after falling at work . I had a small tear in my shoulder, and some swelling also. He sent me to do therapy before going straight to surgery. When I went to therapy I couldn't barley move my left arm, I no it has taken a long time but now I can move my arm and I am also lifting again. I'm not 100% yet but he was sure that I could be healed without surgery, and I am healing well. He has short office visits, and he listens to your concerns. I recommend anyone I come across that need a doctor in his field to him.

I was told I had a torn meniscus which this doctor supposedly repaired and it hurtsvmore than it did before he performed the surgery. I did everything I was supposed to do and attended every session of my Physical therapy but to no avail. I went back to him and he prescribed two different anti-inlammatory medications which gave me the worse abdominal cramps and diarrhea I had ever experienced. He dismissed everything I told him and said I would need a partial knee replacement so I changed doctors and this different doctor was very attentive and told me the knee should have been replaced in the first place and I believe Dr. Bonnarens knew this but was just being greedy for money. He wanted to do a torn meniscus then a partial then a total knee replacement and it's insurance fraud and I wish I had the money to sue this quack. The other doctor picked up on the knee replacement without even doing an MRI. I've very upset because I spent the whole summer sitting at home thinking I was healing when I wasn't not to mention I have to work in pain until I accrue enough sick time at work to have the replacement done. What an unfait insensitive thing to do to a person and play with their livelihood so him and his family can live large but karma will get him sooner or later

I have been seeing Dr. Bonnarens on and off for several years. I had arthoscopic surgery on both knees and eventually a partial knee replacement. The outcomes were wonderful, especailly the knee replacement. I have ALWAYS been treated well by the Dr. and his staff. My wait time has never been very long and he always spends as much time with me as I need. He explains procedures thoroughly and makes recommendations. His staff is friendly and professional. I have had to call him after hours and he always responded. I think he is greatest and I have recommended him to family and friends. All who have gone to him feel the same as I do. I will contine to go to him when needed. I trust him completely.

I made an appointment with Dr. Bonnarens because I ws experiencing extreme pain in my right hip and both knees. There were times when I could not walk across a room or get up from a chair without help. Dr. Bonnarens spent less than 10 minutes with me and simply dismissed anything I had to say. I had some forms for him to fill out for which I was charged $25.00. I received a phone call from the agent handling my FMLA claim telling me that Dr. Bonnarens had not filed the paperwork completely. After several calls to his office, the agent was told that Dr. Bonnarens refused to resubmit the paperwork. He is the most uncaring, difficult medical person I have ever dealt with and I would not ever recommend him to anyone nor will I ever return to him.

The doctor was very quick and treated me like a child. He told me that my rotator cuff had a partial tear but "not to worry about it" and deal with the pain. I'm not sure he even looked at my MRI. Terrible experience. Sorry doctor.

Dr. B repaired my shoulder following an injury. I had been previously misdiagnosed by another orthopedist, my pain became worse, and my range of motion progressively more limited. True, Dr. B is not a gregarious man, but I highly recommend him to anyone who wants a competent, knowledgeable shoulder surgeon. Prior to surgery he told me my shoulder would never be as good as new, but it's sure pretty close! And SO much better than I ever hoped.

Rude, inconsiderate man. Not willing to refer me to someone who could help. No compassion.
