They treat you like a drug addict. No compassion! Do yourself a favor, please find someone else

I have been seeing Dr Falco for over 6 years. During those six years he has shown me nothing but kindness and empathy for my disease CRPS 2. Last year I was paralyzed Dr Falco did everything thing he could to find out the reason even by canceling ALL his scheduled appointments to take me to the University of Penn hospital and get me admitted. Which I was. He did not leave until after 8:30. My husband has been unemployed since Jan 2017. The only income we managed to live on was my disability and because of this he did not charge me kyu

If i could give this doctor a 0 star I would , You will wait at least 4 hours after your appointment, He don't care about anyone but his big ego , if this is your only choice for PM I feel very bad for you , I don't know how they stay open or why anyone would go to him for any reason , In my opinion I wouldn't take my Chesapeake Bay Retriver to this guy ,,

I had a 4 p.m. appointment with Dr. Falco. I ended up seeing him at 10 p.m. and he was only interested in prescribing medication and redoing diagnostic tests that I had already had done. This office is run like a factory for money.

Go elsewhere if you don't want the spinal block because this doctor makes his money off surgery and overbooks his practice. And the wait times are outrageous! HOURS, not minutes passed as I waited in his dingy waiting room in pain. I was treated as if I was supposed to be grateful that this God of a doctor would even see me. I went to PA and found a great doc, so don't believe he's the only doctor who will see you.

DON'T GO!!! Worst experience EVER!!! Extremely unprofessional staff. Waited nearly 3 hours for a scheduled new patient appointment, that I arrived over 45 minutes early for. After checking in with his staff several times, and being told the Dr. would see me shortly, I finally got up out of the exam room and advised I was leaving, and asked for my co-pay and medical records back, Dr. Falco went completely FREAKO and came after me in his completely packed waiting room, hovering over me, point his finger in my face, yelling and screaming at me stating I was a "selfish little brat" that "I needed to get out before [he] calls the Police," how dare I be "complaining when other people wait 4 to 6 hours to see him!" I happened to be on the phone with my Primary Care's office at the time, since they had referred me to Dr. Falco, they heard the entire altercation, and were in complete disbelief! Shocking!!! Very very sad!!! Dr. Falco needs MAJOR intervention!

If you're a long term on pain medicine person, don't bother with this doctor. He pushes the operation. The electric shock needle installed by your spinal cord. (not my thing!) he doesn't want you! 30mg a day or less is all he'll subscribe for you. For most of us on long term medicine that's a 4 hour dose. It was also a 3 month wait to get in to see him. It tics me off because he wasted my time and now have to find another doctor. I've been there twice for a 3 hour wait and only saw him once.

Most recent visit: Appt was scheduled at 5pm, wasn't seen until 8pm and didn't actually leave until 9pm. I would never complain if this was a one time thing or even just occasional. This is ever single time I visit Mid atlantic, regardless of the time of day, doctor I see, or the location. It seems this practice makes a habit of booking way too many patients for each time slot available. And I do understand that this is a high demand facility, but a 3-4 hour wait time is inexcusable. If you have any choice in the matter ( I do not because of my insurance ) I would highly recommend being treated else where. On a lighter note, the reception staff, nurses, and doctors are all extremely professional and courteous. If you can get past the extreme scheduling issues, it is still possible to have a good experience with Mid Atlantic.

I was transferred to dr Falco after his associate (who I absolutely adored) left the practice. I saw him or one of his fellows a few times before I fired him. I tried different meds & procedures - I was a very compliant pt & followed instructions and never once refused to try something new. I had an order from my neurosurgeon (NS) for dr Falco to do a nerve block w/2 specific medications b/c he had read a study that these worked better for ppl w/my condition. He disregarded the order. He only used one of the meds. No explanation, he didn't even tell me about it - I had to ask for the report to show my NS. The final straw was when after 3 hours he walked into the exam room (I had my back to him) and said "you look better than you did last time I saw you". Then when i asked to be changed from one med to another b/c the dose was high and it wasn't helping my pain at all, he told me no, he wouldn't do it, he was the best pain dr available in the state & I needed a psychologist. I have documented multiple herniated discs & some other issues w/my spine - who is this guy?! He never once looked at a film in the office w/me. He never truly introduced himself the 1st time we met (it was very uncomfortable the way he was carrying on that day). He's bouncing from room to room, he doesn't know your name, he's making proclamations about how great he is. He needs to sit down, shut up & listen for a change.

Rude never on time 5 hour wait common pill pushet

THIS SO CALLED DOCTOR, KEPT TELLING ME WHAT WAS CAUSING MY PAIN IN LOWER BACK WHILE I TRIED TO EXPLAIN IT WAS CAUSED BY MY BROKEN PELVIS. VERRY ARROGANT!!!! EGO IS OUT OF THIS PLANET AND DOESNT CARE ABOUT PATIENTS ENOUGH TO TALK TO THEM. HE PREFERS TO PREP YOU FOR SURGERY BEFORE HE EVENS SEE YOU IN PERSON, THIS WAS MY EXPERINCE WITH HIM. I LIVE IN DEL AND HE SAID MY MEDS OF 30MG OF OXOCODONE WAS BAD MEDICENE FROM THE OTHER 8 DOCTORS AND PAIN MANAGEMENT I HAVE BEEN TO SINCE ACCIDENT THAT CAUSED MY PAIN 13 YEARS AGO. HIS IDEA OF GOOD MEDICENE WAS GIVEN ME 2X MORE MORPHINE THAT CAUSED HORRIBLE SIDE AFFECTS. NOT TO MENTION I HAVE ASTHMA AND CAUSED ME SEVERE BREATHING PROBLEMS, TO WHICH HE COULDNT CARE LESS OR EVEN LOOK ME IN THE EYE AS HE KEPT PRESCRIBING IT. ". BEWARE OF THIS PERSON!!!

Despite the wonderful staff, both in the office and the surgery center, our experience with Dr Falco was unsatisfactory. As mentioned by others, the waiting is memorable. We never waited less than 2 hours. The visit time with him is short, the conversation limited, the eye contact almost non-existent, and a complete lack of empathy. The pre-first visit paper work was about 20 pages, none of it apparently read or germane. Each subsequent visit requires another 6 pages. He's eager to prescribe drugs although he will not prescribe oxycontin, so there's that. We eventually complained to the office manager about the wait times (we got nowhere with Dr Falco) who said he overbooks and knows it and has no plans to change. We eventually got fed up with him and went elsewhere. There's too many other doctors around to put up with Dr Falco's attitude and practice style.

He is caring, helpful, and understanding can't say/think of anything bad about him. Yes the wait time is a bit long at times, not always. But there are so many people in pain, and the wait time is because " he's obviously a doctor others want as well". Bedside manner is SO much better then other doctors I've been to! I have been dealing with many doctors for 16+ years many procedures, and been told by to many " your going to have to learn to deal/live with the pain"

Be prepared to wait...every time you see this Dr! The first time I saw him I was there for 6hrs! Every time after that it was at least 2hrs to sometimes 4hrs. This is excrutiating when you have chronic pain! Beyond that when the first thing he tried didn't work, he decided to cut my medication back to the level I was on about 10yrs ago. I still have pain with the level of meds I was on and then he wants to cut the level that drastically! He also wanted to do it very fast which throws the body into withdrawal but when questioned about it...he didn't have a comment beyond "There is nothing else I can do". Now, he had been prescribing these medications at this level for me for 3 months but now without any warning he decides this!

We waited 2-1/2 hours to see Dr. Falco...he rushed in, barely introduced himself, asked absolutely no questions whatsoever about my son's condition. Hurried through scribbling on paper trying to "figure out" conversion of my son's pain med to another med and then ran out. He is extremely rude. Oh and by the way, he messed up on the prescription and gave us a dosage that doesn't exist.

Please consider the patient population leaving reviews.

Just awful. After a FIVE hour wait, this doctor just didn't listen, wasn't in the least bit interested in anything I had to say about my condition. Stay far away.

Dr. Falco is a very caring, considerate doctor. Unfortunately, other doctors in the practice are not as good. Waiting time is horrendous. There are times when you wait for 3 hours before you see the Dr. This is very, very hard for people in alot of pain.
