Dr. Frank Mari, MD

I have been going to Dr. Mari for several years now. From the time I walk in the door to the time I leave the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The office staff is pleasant and helpful. They do not overbook which is refreshing. You can actually plan things for after your appointment knowing you will not be sitting and waiting to see Dr. Mari. Dr. Mari is extremely easy to talk to and he truly listens. He does not rush you through your appointment. He doesn't see you as just another patient. I wish there were more then 5 stars to give.

His staff is rude

Great bedside manner. Soft-spoken and easy to talk to. It's nice to find a doctor who doesn't make you feel like he needs to finish up with you to get to the next patient. There is no long wait and the waiting room rarely has even one other patient waiting.

Dr. Mari gets 5 stars—he genuinely takes the time to listen and treat the patients. The overall score is reduced because of his awful staff. Who would treat people calling to see the Dr. because they themselves don’t feel well so poorly! Every time I have to call you would think I just interrupted their family time in the evening—rather than asking them to do their daily job, which should include a little respect and courtesy—not huffing and puffy of disgruntled ladies. Upon checkout, there is no eye contact, just more huffing and puffing because now you need to schedule another appointment! As a result of 1 star for his staff, the overall rate of Dr. Mari himself is reduced to 3.

The doctor is awesome but the staff has a serious attitude problem. They are very disrespectful so I decided we will look for a new doctor. It is not worth their sassy attitude. They do not care how they treat you. I wonder if the doctor knows that he is losing patients.

I have been with Dr. Mari for many years, and I have always found him to be attentive and genuinely concerned. But, his front office staff comes across as cold and uncaring.

I think Dr Mari is awesome doctor but he need to look for a better front desk staff..I've never met one of the worst, rude horrible front desk ever...Dr. Mari really need to watch how one of his staff works...She always answers the phone without a kind word.

Dr. Mari himself is a very professional person. Aside from that, his office staff is absolutely terrible. I don't know who the office manager is but she has no idea how to handle patients, help them or talk to them. My wife and I have found another Doctor.

I have been going to Dr. Mari for years. Love him! he is understanding and kind. However his front desk person is horrible! If you call to make an appointment because you are sick. You better call at 8:00 A.M. or you are treated like you are an inconvenience. I guess she doesn't realize being sick is an inconvenience to those who are sick. You will always be told they will have to squeeze you in. The best part is you will always be the only one in the waiting room. My question is where did they squeeze me in? When someone is sick kindness goes along way. Being nasty will only get you nasty ! Dr. Mari really needs a new front desk person or needs to do some serious re-training. Maybe on treating people the way you would like to be treated.

Dr. Mari has been my family's physician for many years and we couldn't be happier! He has a very calm and caring demeanor and he is always willing to listen to your questions. We also appreciate that we have always had a very short wait time in the lobby.

I have been seeing Dr. Mari for 4 years. He is an excellent physician with a great personality. His staff on the other hand is absolutely horrible!! I have discussed this with him but he denies it. His nurse, Debbie is nice but the front desk staff (my husband and I call them the Wardens) belittle you and shush you and are very rude. I am currently looking for another PCP.

I have been going to Dr Mari since I have been out of pediatrics, so a very long time. He was my family's doctor and when they moved I stayed with him because he is kind and wonderful. However, his staff is absolutely horrid and they are rude to me whenever I come in (which is frequently since I have a thyroid condition). I am seriously considering going to another family doctor just because I don't like dealing with those nasty women he calls a staff.

I highly recommend Dr. Mari. He was very thorough and spent a great deal of time with me. Great doctor!

i was a patient o Dr Mari. my blood pressure was 200/100 for week while we tried different meds to lower my bp. after i lost my job due to high BP (not able to operate machinery) i had no med insurance. i ran out of my meds, went to the office for a refill, said thy wouldn' give it to me without yet another office visit. I was just there two weeks before and frequent visits before that. the doctor is the best, but not a clue what his staff is doing. i told them i was out of work, lost my house etc. i scrounged enough money to pay for my meds but they refused to authorize me medicine without paying for an additional office visit. if i paid for the visit... i couldn't afford the meds. they couldn't care less. told me with 200/100 bp i could die but refufed a refill on my meds. the doctor is ecxellent but the way his staff treats patients is a shame. i got another doctor, charged me 30 dollars for an office visit, got me my meds for 4 dollars instead of 80 etc. also in an emergency. his staff told me "he doesnt call patients". he needs a staff with some. people skills. i composing a list of other people who were/are patients who have the same complaints. having them ubmit their complaints. if this one doesnt make it on here, i'm/we will post elswhere. Hippocrates oath doesnt say anything about healing the patients (with money only) this is the office on enterprise rd, orange city, fl. it may be different at his other offices.

I am so glad I read these comments. I thought it was just me, but the staff there is horrible! We will NOT be going back. I have actually went to an Urgent Care clinic when I was sick, so I didn't have to speak with the receptionist. This is when you know you need a new Primary Care! Dr. Mari was really nice and listened to everything I had to say, but unfortunately this one receptionist is just to mean and horrible..

I really like Dr. Mari. He is caring and thoughtful. But his office staff is horribly rude. I have decided to leave the practice because I find dealing with the office staff so unpleasant. They sound harassed when you call to make an appointment and are extremely defensive. It's unfortunate because I found him to be a good doctor.

Dr. Mari himself is very caring and will spend as much time as needed to make a proper diagnosis. He also answers questions in a way I will understand, with no medical jargon to confuse me. His staff, on the other hand, needs to be taught how to deal with people. They are rude and condescending, and they take FOREVER to acknowledge that you are even there, and when they finally do, it is obvious that they would rather be socializing with the other staff. There are no people coming through the doors for them, just patients who are beneath them. It is hardly worth seeing a really nice doctor when you have to deal with such horrible staff members.
