Dr. Gaurav Vijai Prat Malhotra, MD

Since the last review on this page is dated 2021, let me give a current overview on Dr. Malhotra, his staff and office procedures. My friend suggested I go to Absolute Healthcare as I needed a new physician since moving here recently. I have been given friendly, caring service by all staff! I do not feel rushed and I am given time to ask questions. Many times, I have a Doctor and a Physician's Asst (hey, they all got to get experience somewhere!) in my room. I have been given suggestions for better care and alternatives to use. No complaints whatsoever!

not only do they not pay attention before the appt but no dr all p.a.'s who write all kinds of demeaning things about the patient in the record and they think that there is no recourse hahaha well there is chris there is

I have no idea how this DR has positive ratings.... if this Dr was practicing in Massachusetts, he would have lost his license by now. Very dangerous tactics, one of the worst dr’s I have ever experienced. My husband & I have been going to Dr. G. Malhotra about as long as he has practiced in Hernando County. We felt he was the very best Doctor we had ever had. Very intelligent, educated & knowledgeable. However, the last several years it seems he has lost interest in his practice & patients, reduced his office hours, ignores or forgets your requests when he walks out of your o.v., permits lots of staff interruptions during your visit, impatient with you when you attempt to discuss a diagnosis or suggestion he has made, rarely touches his patients & generally. seems disinterested. When I make an appointment to see my doctor I expect to see my doctor, not a physicians assistant... 7

I moved from New York to Spring Hill Florida several months ago & spent days searching for doctors, finally I was given Dr Malhotra's name, (from a health insurance agent) I made an appointment right away & was very impressed by the professionalism & pleasantness of the staff. I never in my entire life got a complete physical like I did there, & I have been to some of the best Physicians out there & I am so happy that I have found a doctor that not only listens & understands what your telling him but also a doctor that completes his patients needs, I am not a well lady & so far in a few months I feel so much better more confident that I will be better & a new look on life!T he Dr. changed a few of my daily medications to a level that I should be at, not what other Dr.'s thought I should be on & I feel so much better & sleep so much better too, plus my blood work was really good too!!! I now have my Mother & husband going to him now as well & I will recommend him to my other family & friends. I am honestly 100% satisfied & highly recommend you go to this family of Doctors!!!

I,ve been going to Dr. G. for 20 some odd years, he has a great bedside manner and takes time to listen. His staff is great and very efficient. They get things done. I would recommend this Dr.

This Dr. doesn't care about his patience all he cares about is money/ His wife is just as bad. Do go to him.

Wouldn't trade him for the world!!!! HE cares. HE listens. HE responds.

cry everyday that I step into his office and misdiagnosis me ..he thinks he is god as he told me..I haven't been able to put my pieces back into my life because of this man dont think I will ever be the same because of him!!! .please .do not go to him!

...F Worse experience. Of my life gave me the wrong diagnosis pump me with different medicine trying to fix the problem which he had no clue what was he was doing haven't been the same going on 4 years now...do not go there ...put my faith in him and regret it every day!

One of the best Doctors I have gone to in a long time. He has wonderful beside manors. He is efficient and get's the job done right!

I think Dr Malhotra is a very good doctor he listens and tells you what he thinks will run test to found out what it is too very good doctor

The office is run like a Chinese fire drill, very disorganized, 7 or 8 staff stand around gossiping ignoring the waiting room. Website has broken links, phone numbers not in service, nurse practitioner is arrogant, demeaning, cold and a bully, probably belongs in the Marines at Paris Island. But when you get to Dr. Malhotra everything falls away and you know you're in good hands. He really deserves a much better office manager.

Dr G and his entire crew are unbelievably the best medical care possible. He has found proper diagnosis where others haven't even come close. For a holistic approach in your well-being, I wouldn't recommend anyone other than him. The most knowledgeable, current quality of care you will ever find in the all three counties! We are so fortunate to have him here.

I complimented his staff one day so he took all of them out to lunch! he and his wife practice together and they are both wonderful! totally trust both of them.

I worked for him 9 years ago. He is an excellent teacher as well as doctor. He treated my father in law and mother in law carol and butch Prado as well. I would recommend him to anyone for healthcare because he is patient, kind, and spends time with his patients and staff, and prompt on addressing the needs of both.

Dr G is a wonderful doctor, he takes a lot of time to listen and ask questions and give you kind words and help.
