an hour ago NEW I left one star review because of doctor front desk employees. The doctor is very good and nice but front desk is very unprofessional. The firs examination I had she asked me to pay $350 from my pocket and my insurance covered rest . She told me I don’t need to pay after and my next examination should be free . Actually one day before my Second exam she called me and asked for another $150 I have to pay from my pocket otherwise she will cancel my appointment. I just canceled my appointment and prefer to find another doctor that to be honest. She just left me middle of my eyes treatment and it’s hard to find another doctor to take care of my eyes. Please be careful with this team and if you still want to see this doctor please ask them for proof of cost to have it cause she lies easy and ignore after .

Go somewhere else. No COVID protocols (aside from masks). And when I asked the assistant to clean/ disinfect my eyeglasses after handling them herself, she sharply corrected me while doing so saying it was unnecessary. The Dr.’s a joke. Rude, and unprofessional. He wrote me the same prescription for eyeglasses that I’ve had for the last 3 years, even after I repeatedly told him I constantly have trouble seeing properly with the current lenses. Don’t waste your time or money. Go somewhere else.

Over priced and the numbers come out of nowhere, I felt like they were trying to sell me a car or a timeshare. It seemed shady with where the numbers came from as well. The visits alone are really expensive and any other Doctor is way less and better. Doctors aren't supposed to be like car salesman. This place is sneaky. I will never refer anyone to them. I still can't see.

My husband, kids and I have been patients of Dr. Zdenek for many years. He's an expert in his field and is very courteous and professional at all times. His staff is friendly and always willing to help. I definitely recommend Dr. Zdenek and his staff.

I saw Dr. Zdenek last month for a condition in my eye that no doctor could have diagnose. Finally I went to Dr. Zdenek and he was able to perform all thetest to at lease tell me what is wrong with my eyes. He used the most up to date technology and I am very gratefull to trust him with my eyes.

Best experience in a doctor's office that I have had in a long time. The staff is great, friendly, and courteous. Dr. Z was great, explained the procedure to me in clear easy to understand terms and performed it exactly that way.

This was my second time seeing Dr. Zdenek. Both times the staff was very nice, and Dr. Zdenek was very helpful. On my first visit with him, he gave me a prescription for mild reading glasses that have cured my headaches when reading. He explained exactly what my eye problem was. I'm very grateful. This past time was just a check up, and getting a new pair of frames. The ladies at Optical Illusions next door were awesome and helped me pick out really cute frames.

I always have a positive experience when I visit Dr. Zdenek, including Optical Reflections across the hall. I am very happy with my choice of opthalmologists. Don't even try to get me to change!

I have been going to Dr. Zdenek for over 20 yrs. and have always had a great experience. He handles everything I need from routine visits to actual eye surgery. He explains everything in great detail and is very caring, I won't go to anyone else and I highly recommend him! His staff is also very nice and helpful!

First of I love Dr. Zdenek office! The staff is extremely nice, always smiling and laughing with each other. I was nervous about going to a new doctor but Dr.Zdenek answered every question I had and made me feel like he could solve all problem with eye care. Never go to OD after I saw knowledge and eagerness to make sure his pt. leave feeling like their problem is solved. On top of Dr. Zdenek his staff is so friendly, they made me feel like I was apart of their family. One thing I noticed about the staff is they take to meet each pt. and make feel at home. Dr. Zdenek was super helpful... He has so much acknowledge about his field I asked every question I had. The staff was nice , polite, and easy going. Dr.Zdenek and his staff made me feel like I was part family. I will diffenetly be coming back!!!

This is the first time I have been to an M.D. instead of a quick place or seen an Optometrist for my eyes. What a difference it made. (I'm not sure who some of these other people who left comments were seeing - this guy is GREAT) I was seen promptly and the office/staff had a great sense of humor. I felt very comfortable there. The doctor was professional and was very knowledgeable, and the plus was that with his skill also came a sense of humor. I have a complicated eye condition, but he put me at ease immediately and I felt he paid very close attention to everything I said. I felt I received the best most attentive and professional care that is out there, compared to the quicky alternatives. I think I made some mistakes in my own eye care by choosing the so called "cheaper" way to go. I know better now and my eyes are back on track. I highly recommend this doctor. If you have to go to one, this is the guy for eyes.

I decided to leave my OD and try out an MD. I learned more from Dr. Zdenek in my 20 minute exam than I have from my OD for the past 10 years. He was chatty and fun, cracked a few jokes. The staff was helpful and even tried explaining insurances to me.

The appt. I was offered was 1 hour prior to a dental appt. I asked how long I would be there & explained that I had another appt. I was told that if I was just coming in for a new rx for glasses that I would be in & out in about 15 minutes. Upon arriving I was quickly taken to an exam room, then for the next 30-35 minutes I listened to Dr. Z chat about golf in the room next to me. My exam took 5-10 minutes but I made the mistake of asking if Lasix Surgery was permanent. I was then escorted to another room where I was given a sales pitch for Surgery. I indicated that I could not afford nor did I have the time for this & was then given a financing pitch. Finally, I just interrupted, paid $40 & left. Too late for my dental appt. 45 days later I received a bill for $152.00. I called the office regarding this mistake & was told that I must have indicated that I was having a problem, although there was no mention in my chart. The $192.00 was for a 'Complete Eye Exam' & 'new patient' I am not a new patient but they have decided that if you don't come in every two years, you are new? So I wrote a letter to the office mgr. He wrote back talking about insurance companies cutting back on benefits & offering me a payment plan. So I wrote again explaining that he did not address the issue at all. He wrote back that his office was no longer handling this as he has sent it to collection. It's been 6 weeks and my new balance is now $207 not including the $60 I already paid. I'm NEVER paying this... & next time, I'll go to Costco.
