I took opportunity to make my appointments at her secondary office. The wait time and staff there are exemplary. While I would concur with other reviews of the primary office, the Somers office is very efficient.Dr. Lama is beyond wonderful. Very caring, very patient, very respectful and in every case very cheerful with me. She actually called me once to talk about the diagnosis, and it wasn't because I was seriously ill. I was gobsmacked when I realized it was actually the doctor calling me, I can't ever, ever recall a doctor calling me, not since childhood at least.I can't recommend her enough.

There should be more caring doctors in this world who treat patients like people with medical issues and not just insurance numbers.
