Dr. George Andrew Poulos, DO

I saw this doctor at the ENT Associates in Islandia for an issue with tinnitus that I have had since I started blood pressure meds. He talked to me as if I were making it up in my head (I have done research and I know that the blood pressure meds I am on commonly cause tinnitus, also spoke to an audiologist who is a friend of mine and confirmed this). His diagnosis was "get a sound machine" and "Just try not to think about it". He also stuck a tube up my nose and three days later I had the worst head cold I ever have, and I rarely get sick. As if that weren't enough, I paid my bill months ago but they continue to bill me. I called a couple of months ago and spoke to a girl who said I didn't owe anything but that I would get one more statement but to ignore it. Well, I have had three more! Are they hoping I will forget and accidentally pay them again? I would absolutely not recommend ENT associates to anyone and especially this doctor. Not only did I spend hours there, I lost time off work, wasted my money and still have the tinnitus. I only gave one star because I had to. I'd really give them zero stars. The aggravation with the bills continues, I wish I had never gone to this place.
