Dr. George Ephraim Herriott, MD

I am a physician that refers many orthopedic conditions to Orthopedic surgeons all over the eastern US. I have as much confidence in Dr Herriot as I do in any orthopedic surgeon anywhere. He treats my patients with compassion and gives them high quality care. So much so that he is my orthopedic surgeon and performed a knee surgery on me that went smoothly as expected.

Beware of PA’s switching xraysband falsifying records to try and get you to have big surgeries!!! They did this to me!! And I caught them!

I went to Dr. Herriott three years ago with severe pain in my hip. He said X-rays showed nothing. He made me feel it was all in my head. I suffered with this the last three years. My general physician ordered an MRI last week and it showed a mass on hip that is probably a cyst due to severe arthritis. I have made an appointment with a doctor in Charleston.

GLAD he never returned calls with any results from multiple tests. Went elsewhere and doing much better!

George has the best bedside manner of any surgeon that I have met in 20 years.

He is excellent for minor problems. Any long term conditions, especially replacement surgeries, knee, hip, shoulder should be treated by a much more experienced professional. Performs surgery and makes promises for functionality and pain reduction. When the surgeries do not work, he is more concerned about saving his image; than treating the patient. Worst mistake I ever made was trusting this doctor.

After having knee pain and two different orthoscopic procedures, Dr. Herriott recommended a partial knee replacement. I appreciated the fact that he tried the least invasive alternatives first and then, after the surgery, went over and above in my care.
