Dr. George Krikor Kamajian, DO

I have been a Medical Marijuana patient for 18 months now. It is totally cash which I am fine with but at $350 first visit and $150 every 70 days he is one of the most expensive out there. Despite what you are told, the state don't dictate the 70 days, he does. I could live with that. BUT as someone with a Spinal Cord Injury and limited mobility. I am beyond frustrated at having to leave work early for an appointment. Drive to their office that has next to no disabled parking outside. Struggle to get in the smallest waiting room, that is hot and smelly. Listen to the staff berating other customers on the phone while I sit and wait for an hour. Eventually get moved to a room, where they must have an open door policy (or maybe they just know he won't be in long enough to make it worthwhile closing the door). So you can listen to all his other patients complaints and fragrant language while you wait for him to eventually see you. Which will be for all of 2 mins! I asked if we could do these appointments by phone (i would still pay the $150) but no he needs to see me in person every 70 days per the state! Please don't treat me like an idiot, I have a back injury not a brain injury. I'll take my hard earned cash to someone who doesn't treat me like a fool! I recommend doing your research if you are looking for a Doc for Medical Marijuana. Oh and after all that, they never did have me sign the 7 page form the state insists you are supposed to sign on each visit. Funny, they never forgot to take your payment!

I have been a patient from Dr. KAmajian since Nov 2016 and he is the most caring kind doctor I hater ever worked with. He listens and is compassionate.

I never usually write reviews but I was so amazed by his caring nature, I think other people In need should know. I felt like he really cared for me and was in my corner. I was skeptical about seeing him because of past bad experiences with treatment for my issues with other doctors, but I have a different view today and I'm thankful I was referred to him.

It's very hard to find a good doctor that cares about his patients. I've been to pain management in the past which was a pill pushing doctor that just wrote me prescriptions for whatever I asked for without question. Places like that should be shut down. It got me into alot of trouble. I became extremely addicted to pain pills. I thank God for finding Dr. Kamajian. I'm currently on suboxone and he is really helping me. My life has changed so much for the better. Since I've started seeing him I've stayed completely clean and am doing more to improve my quality of life. Thankyou Dr. Kamajian and all of your staff for your caring professional clinic.

I had a great experience with this office and dr George. I have suffered alcoholism since 14 and for the past 5 months have been trying to find a doctor who would prescribe me Antabuse and no doctor will give it to me even Though the success rate is so high. George listened to me and saw the seriousness of me getting help and prescribed it to me! Today is my first day on it and I'm very excited for my recovery and his help. Also I was seen in 5 min from arival and they were in the room imidiately they don't have you just sit there waiting they are very prompt to attend to your needs! George is old fashioned a bit he's been in the field along time so he's alittle more cut and dry but I like how he lets you know he'll help but this is serious stuff and treatment. Hope many people see him don't exspect a therapy session though George is more about business which is his job he's more focused on okay now how can we fix this and is cut and dry about what needs to be done and I love that about him he's dealing with addicts so he needs to be more firm and not compashionate. Dr. "K" is the good old fashion type of Dr. who cares, and does not make you feel like you are just another impersonal number. His genuine care and concern will be felt on your first visit. I have been going to Dr. "K' for over 7yrs. He's the best!

I think his practice needs to be looked at legally. I would not have given a one, but had too.

I've been seeing DR K. For about 2 months he has gotten me off my heart pills and other undesirable medications. This doctor isn't focused on money believe me. He helps the uninsured and turns nobody away!!

ok dr but more concerned with his pocket than ur health. more programs for cash than pay per view tv

This Dr. just wants your money. He does not care about your health or well being. If you plan on going out of town do not expect him to help you with your prescriptions, as he said "It's against the law" When it is not. My old Dr. had no promblem helping me with the medications I need even if I was out of state. Save your money and go elsewhere!!

Dr. K is AMAZING! He is totally dedicated to his patients and is honestly concerned with their well being and health, not money, and he is not a pill pusher..If you are looking fer a pill mill, go away. This Dr, has compassionate, and is very smart, he doesn't want to cause any long term turmoil to his patients. He considers the big picture. Doctors like him are so very hard to come by. I have marfan syndrome... and have been through so many doctors.. most not having a clue what they are talking about. Dr. K actually listens... he doesn't judge a book by it's cover. You arent just a paycheck to him, you are a human being who is in neede of his care, and he takes his job very seriously, while of course having a great sense of humor.I am so lucky to have found Dr. K... I dont know what I would have done if I had not come across his practice.Because of him, I can get out of bed each day, without crying out in pain. I can go about my day and live life as a 25 yr old should. moving around.. with pain under control and the edge taken off. I walk my dogs, work my 10 to 16 hr shifts in the group homes I work for and take care of my ailing mother... Because of Dr. K.. I am able to be the strong individual I need to be right now.Thank you Dr . K(the baby girl with marfans)
