Dr. Caldwell has operated on both of my shoulders, the one that was repaired 6 years ago has never given me any trouble since the recovery. The second one he repaired 4.5 months ago and I'm confident of the same result with this one. His staff are excellent and the whole process from beginning to end was seamless and professional. I would recommend him to anyone with any shoulder injury.

Dr Caldwell is a top notch surgeon and came highly recommended by both prior patients and numerous physical therapists. He did my first ACL in 2012 and my second in 2019. Tore both in separate skiing accidents. He is consistently developing new methods to make the surgery more successful but I’m sure he could do it with his eyes closed. Never had any issues, his bedside manner is perfect and his staff are awesome. Hopefully I never have to see him again but if I need another one I wouldn’t go to anyone else.

Dr Caldwell repaired my knee. The surgery went fantastic, with minimal pain. With limited Physical Therapy in 6 weeks I was back riding my bike 6-8 miles a day !

Dr. Caldwell repaired my ACL with cadaver tissue two months after I injured it, and I am currently 10 weeks post-op and doing great! The surgical scar is very small, and his repair was so flawless that I never need the narcotics post-op. The staff at Florida Institute of Orthopedic Surgical Specialists were very helpful and compassionate (a special thank you to Marybeth and Maryellen for taking extra time to answer all of my many questions)! I hope I never have to go through ACL reconstruction again, but if I did I would absolutely go to Dr. Caldwell and his team again.

I was fortunate to have Dr. Caldwell repair my rotator cuff. He was very thorough, did xrays and an MRI then confirmed the damage. My surgery went great, minimal pain. He's very easy to talk to and spends time with each patient. His staff are always available by phone to answer any questions, and are very professional. Nice office, ample parking and easy access. Highly recommend.

Dr Caldwell supposed to be only a second opinion but I received many recommendations and after talking with Michael and Kim I made my final decision... they are kind and Michael was so patient... he answered all my questions....I was very emotional and anxious when I figured out that I need surgery but Michael spent all time necessary answering and explaining everything to me like a check list... His personnel is unprofessional, uncaring and deceitful. Except for Mary. They don’t know the mining of the word “ ethics “. Got my medical records from him and found a doctor that actually cares for his patients, not just for their money. If you are not surgical patient ( a cash cow) you will be completely ignored by Caldwell and forced to seek another doctor .

saw Dr Caldwell about 5 years ago for rotator cuff and no cartilage left in right shoulder. Cleaned everything up and did needed repairs. After being in constant pain and right arm being almost useless for a year the last 5 years since operation have been great. Would highly recommend him and might revisit for my left shoulder this time.

Dr. Caldwell recently performed arthroscopic surgery on my shoulder. I am 69 years old, a former competitive swimmer and water skier, and a present-day competitive tennis player. My shoulder was a mess, with multi-focal pathology. Dr. Caldwell at first recommended rehab through physical therapy, but a return to tennis afterwards was unsuccessful, so he did the surgery. He was always kind, calm, helpful, and explained things concisely and thoughtfully. His staff in the office have been great, and always extremely responsive to any of my questions or concerns. I am doing remarkably well, the surgery was a masterful success and I am working hard in therapy to get back on the tennis court. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Caldwell, as he came so highly recommended to me by physician friends of mine. He’s great. As far as I’m concerned, he is The Go-To-Guy. All of my tennis friends who have had shoulder surgery elsewhere cannot believe how well I’m doing. I am so very happy to be lucky enough to have had Dr. Caldwell as my surgeon. ??

Dr. Caldwell performed extensive shoulder surgery on me, with great results and a smooth recovery. I never had to waited more that 5 minutes in the waiting room before I was escorted to a patient room. I was then seen by Dr. Caldwell within 5 - 10 minutes every single visit. Dr. Caldwell always spent plenty of time diagnosing, explaining options and post surgery, insuring a good recovery. Dr. Caldwell’s team was awesome, from the front desk staff, to the nurses, and the physician assistant.

Dr. Caldwell gave me straight and honest advice after a relatively long consult. Most through exam after seeing 3 other surgeons. His surgical practices where top notch, very strict attention to sanitary conditions and patient comfort. It is 90 days later and he and his staff is still providing excellent direction and advice during rehabilitation.

My daughter is a Division 1 athlete who suffered a shoulder injury while playing at college. Dr.Caldwell repaired by daughter's shoulder to full recovery. He and his staff are professional, caring and understanding. Great doctor!

Dr Caldwell repaired my torn meniscus and I walked out after surgery with no pain, never had the need to take the narco prescribed. Rehab went perfect, no pain any time, knee feels great.

I am lucky that such a gifted talent exists. Based on the number of stories I have heard about other people's surgeries, my recovery has been amazing. I was off of pain medication within the week. I was able to sleep in a bed and not a chair. At 17 weeks, I have amazing range of motion. I appreciate Dr. Caldwell's "bedside manner" in the office and in the surgical center, he is an amazing person. Thank you Dr. Caldwell, Kim, Michael et al. I would gladly share my experience with anyone and would recommend no one else.

Dr. Caldwell and his entire staff was excellent. He came highly recommended from another doctor. The staff was knowledgeable and professional. There was practically no waiting for our scheduled appointment. They were very helpful in getting us an appointment on short notice and working out the details to schedule the operation in a time sensitive situation. Dr. Caldwell explained in detail and patience the procedure and all that was entailed. I would highly recommend them.

I have used Dr. Caldwell not once but twice. I needed shoulder surgery on my right shoulder in 2005. He performed the surgery and now I feel my right arm/shoulder is "bionic". I found I needed an extensive repair on my left shoulder in June of this year, 2017. Dr. Caldwell did the repair and I'm in the process of PT several times a week. Even though he found the damage to be much more than originally thought, I'm well on my way to another "bionic" shoulder. I've interviewed many doctors and find that Dr. Caldwell is above and beyond in every single way. I couldn't recommend him more highly. I'm completely satisfied.

Doctor Caldwell did surgery to repair damage to my shoulder. I had very little pain afterwards and a quick recovery. Doctor Caldwell also preformed surgery on my wife 14 years ago, she also had very little pain, and quick recovery and has not had any issues since. Doctor Caldwell has a great bedside manner and a great staff!
