Dr. George Arthur Nicola, MD

After 3 week's of pain and no return call's from the Dr. ,I rescheduled with a second specialist and got instant results. I do believe the problem lies with the staff of Dr. Nicola but with no communications, he'll never know.To wait 8 days to have a M.R.I. evaluated is 6 days to long! To wait 8 day's for approval from my insurance company,(which normally takes 22 hrs) is a week to long. All that wasted time in pain!!!

Dr. George Nicola has a great bedside manor and is very patient with questions I had regarding my shoulder impediment and surgery. He treated me about 18 months ago and I'm doing really good. I like to wait to give a review of these types of things long after so I know the final results. I highly recommend him.

awsome doctor, nice and friendly, i did not have wait long at all, he made feel comfortable and confident that i come to the right place. i had nearly been cut by another doctor. but dr. nicola wants to make sure before he does that. i and very happy i found him. and his staff, everyone was a complete delight. smiles and laughter throughout. havent had second visit yet, but i know it will be just as good as the first. thank you dr. nicola and staff.

54 yr. old male with torn Achilles. Intricate stitch to gather the horsehair fibres together. Tremendous stitch and I now feel confident that I can return to try and become a futbol star in my next life! I now want to see him about stemcell and/or cadaver meniscus replacement rather than complete knee. We'll see what he says. He is insanely intelligent and gifted. If he can fix my knees like he did my Achilles tendon, I wouldn't have anybody else! We're extremely lucky to have such a gifted surgeon walking around in this isolated valley!

Best surgeon for knee replacement

Did a great job for my husband. His gait is perfect and if a person didn't know he'd had KNA, they couldn't tell by the way he walks. Dr. Nicola always gave us all the time we needed. Talked TO us, not down to us. Great staff and follow-up care. Great sense of humor. We've moved out of the area, but I'm needing some work on ankles and wrists now and will be heading back (300 miles) to see what he can do for me.

Terrifically nice, well-educated, unhurried, eye-contact to eye-contact Doctor. ...Seems like every primary physician and physical therapy clinics ALL say "Dr. Nicola" practically before you can get the word "knee" out of your mouth. I wouldn't trade him for all the gold in China. Forget the tea --- the gold.

Unfriendly office. Doctor hardly spends any time with you. Quick to move onto the next patient after having you wait over an hour to see him. Staff lacks compassion as well as the Doctor. Refuse to be seen by him again. Switching providers.

Great doctor came in on Easter Sunday and treated my son with a broken leg. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. Would highly recommend him.

Dr. Nicola fixed my shoulder. I had a rotator cuff tear. Even though I was very nervous for surgery Dr. Nicola eased my stress and explained to me my surgery. He was very available for answering my questions. After surgery him and his physician assistants took excellent care of me. After two months my shoulder felt great. I would recommend Dr. Nicola to anyone. Thank you.

I used to live a very sedentary life. It was very difficult for me to move around because I had such a painful knee. This led to weight gain and even more health problems. Then I met Dr. Nicola. He catered to my problems and took all aspects of my life into account. His humor and personality were a nice change from the typical doctor's office. He gave me my new knee and I can finally walk around the store! I have lost over 65 lbs and am doing great. Dr. Nicola gave me a back my life. I suffered for many years with severe knee pain. I had couldn't do normal things like walk around the store. After trying lubricant in my knees Dr Nicola recommended knee resurfacing . He did a quad sparing approach and did not cut any muscle. I was out of the hospital in less than two days and had my left knee done a month later. Almost no pain! Being an athlete with hurt knee, Dr. Nicola made the correct diagnosis and we have scheduled appropriate repair. Hilarious person and is great at what he does. Future problems will go to him. Visit may take longer than expected so try to get in early.

Dr. Nicola .great dr. did excellent work ,a slightly under calculated diagnosis though , was only supposed to be minimal repair . turned out to be major ..but he did a good job repairing ,and has been very good on his follow up & recovery care ! very caring man ....excellent doctor .!!!!!!!!!!!

This doctor is poor in my opinion. I ended up having to diagnose myself. He gave me an in-house MRI that I later found out that it is weaker than one at a veterinarians office. Six years of dealing with this man and he is still doing a poor job and hindering my recovery.
