Extremely rude receptionist… not good the receptionist I spoke to this morning needs to have a bit more compassionate and definitely needs to go on a customer service training course immediately!

Smart, capable, honest, decent, compassionate!

Gerry is absolutely first rate in every regard, and is supported by an excellent staff. He takes time to listen and explain issues in a readily understood manner. All the while he gives every impression that he has a keen interest in your wellness. Originally got to him on the recommendation of an ER doc at Sarasota Memorial, and her prediction that I would like him was spot on.

Dr Curtis is an incredible physician, he is knowledgeable, professional, and kind with a wonderful staff. I highly recommend him. In my opinion one of the best urologist ever. He spent time with me and my husband making sure all our questions were answered and was always accessible. Thank you Dr Curtis and your staff.

Dr. Curtis and is staff are excellent! I called for an emergency appointment and they got me right in. I read some of these reviews and was a little hesitant, but I was not disappointed! Dr. Curtis really cares about his patients.

I prepared myself for a 1 star physician based on reading some of the other comments. Not only was I surprised but relieved to meet one of the nicest physicians I've ever seen in this area. He was extremely patient, he asked questions and listened to the answers with interest. I didn't feel rushed, shuffled or talked down to. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Curtis is not good if you're in pain he does not believe in opiates just tramadol which gave me real bad side effects after 3 days a bad side effects so tell me to go to my primary care physician or a walk in clinic they don't want to prescribe any other medication then tramadol

He acts like you are a child and he is a parent. No real empathy, just let me get done with you and move on. Berated me for worrying about my conditio ...

This doctor has no empathy for a patient. A cat-scan was ordered to see if I had any prostate problems. A 8 mm cyst appeared on a kidney and the radiologist suggested a repeat cat-scan with dye. Dr Curtis advised that it was up to me when I wanted to have another cat-scan and gave no opinion other than to say if the cyst was cancerous, he would only watch it due to its small size and small growth rate. I later phoned his office and asked for a copy of the radiology report. I was told a nurse would have to talk to me and a phone message was left. I never received a return phone call.

Surgery went well but later problems arose and he was not willing to follow-up. Calls were never returned to internist, oncologist, or general surgeon. Office staff very rude. Would never recommend to anyone.

Terrific doctor. Great office staff. Would definitely recommend.

He seen him for a number of years and is without a doubt the most caring and knowledgeable medical doctor I've ever seen. You can tell he really cares about his patients.

Results of laboratory blood test were never communicated. 2 telephone calls from me and one from my internist have been ignored

Office staff is impatient and rude sometimes. The doctor is wonderful.

Dr. Curtis is one of the most caring and human doctors I have ever met. He is very sensitive to personal issues revolving around physical problems. I would follow him anywhere.
