Ive had ear problems since I was 4 including holes in both eardrums that had to be patched and countless ear infections but the last year or so off and on my left ear has drainage that smells horrible and hurts so I made an appointment with Dr Christy because even though I wasn't having the smelly drainage both my ears had been hurting bad for several weeks and so I told him what was going on and he said it sounded like I might have an inflected mastoid so he ordered a CT scan without dye and 2 dif radiologists looked at it and 1 said it looked like an inflected mastoid and the other 1 thought I had fluid vehind my eardrum so since there was 2 dif opinions he then ordered an MRI with dye like 2 weeks later he didn't give me anything to ease my pain or nothing just some antibiotics that did nothing and I was hurting so bad 1 night that I had to go to the ER and they gave me 2 dif IV antibiotics that cleared up most of whatever was going on so when I had the MRI done all it showed was inflammation of the mastoid and the nurse said he just wants to wait and see how it goes???? And just like I figured its already getting worse again and now I have to start all over and find another Dr and continue to hurt even longer!
