Dr. Ginny Kamboj, MD

I have nothing but the highest compliments for Dr Kamboj. We interviewed 2 other oncologists after leaving out 1st rigid oncologist under great duress. The other two we interviewed were duplicates of the first in their delivery of the treatment...ie less attention, one size fits all. I had unique needs. Dr K looked me in the eye with no rehearsed patter, let me interrupt with my questions, calmed my personal fears and even shared her cell number. High quality attention to specific individual needs, even adjusting treatment as needed. I cried with relief to meet someone so genuine and caring, who literally saved my life.

Dr. Kamboj has been my oncologist for over 5 years now. She is a caring and a concerned player in your care. Sure everyone has bad days... There have been times when I wasn't the most pleasant person to my doctors and they may be dealing with 50 people like me. (Which I don't wish on anyone) lol What I do know is that she knows the science, the drugs needed, surgery options, and how genetics plays a role. She takes your care to heart and she is someone you need on your cancer team.

Dr Kamboj was rude after I sought a 2nd opinion and proceeded to berate me for 2nd opinion evaluation. I felt berated and attacked at our visit. She was extremely condescending and argumentative with me regarding her care provided. Any doctor that would treat her own patients in this manner shouldn’t be treating any patients.

Dr Kamboj was late to my consultation appointment, rushed through the evaluation and dismissed the concern as related to infection. After a 2nd opinion with another physician, a blood disorder was diagnosed after further testing.

Dr Kamboj was over 1 hour late to our new consultation appointment. My husband and I felt rushed and that she didn’t review our case adequately. Overall, after our consultation we were not reassured about her recommendation for my breast cancer treatment. We got a 2nd opinion in Chicago at one of the universities and will be transferring our care. We wanted to share with the community our experience and would suggest caution.

Dr Kamboj is never on time she is 1 hour behind for every appointment and tells you one treatment and you get something else she she be look it to by the medical board

Dr. Kamboj has been taking care of my dad. She is dedicated to her profession, passionate and listens to her patients. She is very knowledgeable and brings answers to my questions. She brings moral support when we need it. Her staff is wonderful. Always helpful and supportive. I would like to thank Dr. Kamboj and her staff for always being there for us and guide us when we need help. Thank you.

Very caring, compassioinate doctor. cares alot about her paitents but also about the family as well. Not only a great doctor, but great bed side manner as well!
