POS!!!! Doesn't deserve a star

This is the most inept doctor’s office I’ve ever encountered. I deeply regret ever going to Pace Orthopedics. They don’t return calls, they don’t follow up on insurance approval.... it’s a nightmare. I had knee pain due to a stress fracture and torn meniscus. The pain resolved but I was encouraged to have meniscus surgery. Huge mistake. I am in pain again and they can’t manage to get insurance approval for injections. The person I was told to contact never returned my calls. I found out she was out sick, yet I kept being put through to her voicemail. Another woman “promised” to get back to me. Surprise! Never heard back.

I was sent to Zuck after my hamd was injured at work. I needed surgery. He wouldn’t even discuss it. Well it took 2 surgeries, by a competent Dr to fix the tendon problem that could have been repaired with 1 surgery originally. Glenn Zuck has no comprehension of rotation

Worst receptionist ever! Very unaccomodating, rude, and condescending. Her attitude was as if SHE was doing ME the favor by allowing me to visit this office. I would probably never return regardless of the doctor.

Excellent Doctors they did my hip replacement

Dr Zuck recommended menical surgery with just a physical exam (no xray or mri), and said I'd be as good as new in a few weeks. That was a long time ago, and my knee never was pain-free. The meniscus operation was a waste of time and money.

I found Dr Zuck a pleasure... He was very easy to speak to ..listened and responded to any concerns I had ...was very thorough explaining to me about my injury ... Called night before surgery to see if I had any questions...called next day after surgery to see how I was feeling... I found this very comforting to know that you are not just a number... This doctor takes the time to give the extra attention you need at a time when you are having doubts ... He assures you .. you are in good hands... I have only praise for Dr. Zuck... My experience with Dr. Zuck and his staff at Pace orthopedics was more then pleasurable.. I found them very nice and accommodating ...Ty

Guy was a doctor for the Philadelphia Eagles.... not bad. And he speaks spanish cause he probably wants to relate. Sorry your lives suck so bad that you have to complain. And to the surgery center worker, your probably lucky you have a job. You couldn't be a doctor if you spent your entire life trying

I have known Dr. Zuck for more than 20 years. I have not worked with him in surgery, as a matter of fact, our specialties were such, that we rarely overlapped, he is not my "friend", but I am keenly aware of his surgical skills first hand. He operated on my husband nearly 15 years ago, With excellent results. Anyone working in the medical profession, knows... that most doctors have ego's that need stroking, especially surgeons, However, I find it hard to believe that this man is capable of half of what I read here today. Falsifying documents, and purposely cutting tendons?.. please... OR's have camera's so procedures can be reviewed if there is any conflict about what was done for that very reason. Prove it, and I will jump on the bandwagon with you. I ...had an appointment today. Yes I did have a longer than expected wait, but, what that tells me is, he is not the kind of doctor who runs a surgical factory. His waiting room was not crammed with 20 people looking at their watches, It also told me he gave the patient before me, the time they needed. As, did he do for me. True.. it was not a long appointment, but that is because no surgeon is his right mind is going to do anything, or make a diagnosis until he has the necessary information needed, If they do... run. In my case, an MRI and X-rays of my hip. His response was, "once he had them, then we would sit down and talk about the next step." After 15 years, he still knew immediately, who I was. He was pleasant, concerned and aware of my underlying problem with MS, and understood my concern, regarding how surgery might impact my ability to walk in the future. I ...flat out asked him to admit me, because the pain in my hip is excruciating. My exact words were, "admit me now, do the MRI tonight and book the OR for tomorrow." Now as an RN, I know this is not how things are done anymore. And... he knows, I know that. We laughed, since he also knows I avoid all doctors like the plague. Not being disrespectful here, but NO, he does not do just workman's comp cases. I am not a workman's comp case nor was my husband. It was he, who told me to slow down, and we had to take a better look at what was going on. I already know what my problem is, but at this stage cannot answer the questions about accurate diagnosis, or, follow up visits, because I am still in the middle of the his process. But I do know, that he is not jumping head first into anything, and understand that I can only speak from my own experience. I also found his "fellow", Dr. Brown, now working with him, extremely impressive, caring and outgoing. The staff was friendly, courteous and very helpful, since I am wheelchair bound they helped me in every way they could. But to trash a doctor for flirting? He's a man! And a good looking one at that. That has no impact on the type of doctor he is or his surgical skills. To complain about having to put his name up on a patient's door is not unreasonable either. Had I been his NP, I would have expected no less from the nurses as well. I learned very early on, that doctor's who scream or yell at nurses, are usually doctor's who DO care about their patients. My answer is... yell back if you feel that strongly. It may seem petty to you, but then you, are not the doctor. I don't know about you, but even I could not remember the names of all the patients entrusted to my care. My guess is that even the nurse that posted that comment couldn't either. When you work in medicine, no matter in what capacity, you are always going to find people you don't see eye to eye with, and not even necessarily agree with. That is just the nature of the beast and something you either learn to accept, or get out of the profession. Nursing is not for the easily offended or faint of heart. I did not find him condescending in the least. And to speak Spanish to a Latino, is more a courtesy than an insult. That is called, trying to relate to your patient and establish a bond. I'm sure once the teacher who posted here spoke English, he did the same. Instead, give him credit for learning the language, don't chastise him for it. Each of us have different perceptions of people we meet. Your concern when choosing a surgeon should be his skill, and nothing more. It is not a social outing. If you have a concern as a patient, tell him, He will respond in a positive manner. We as nurses are expected to be on our A game at all times, if you are not, then perhaps you are in the wrong profession. I will continue to post here while I am going through my diagnostic process, and I will tell the truth, based solely on my own experience, and not by what other people say. Lastly, anyone who judges a doctor, because of "rumor" is at the very least, unprofessional, and has no place in the medical field in my opinion. That is called defamation of character, without any concrete fact, We are all entitled to our own opinions, and for everyone, they will be different. I will continue to post here until my time with Dr. Zuck is over. If it is an overall positive experience, I will tell you. If it is not, I will tell you that too. But nothing I have read here, has deterred me from seeking his help. And to all patients, I tell you, that if you feel like you have more to ask or have things you need explained, just say so. He will sit and give you what you need. If he doesn't then I DO say go somewhere else, but this has NOT been my experience with Dr. Zuck.

i am a Latino and when he came in he started speaking Spanish to me, despite me being a teacher.

My primary care doctor wanted to pursue further testing and evaluation of me but he tried to push me into having surgery before it was complete. i was not comfortable with having surgery before he said i was cleared medically. i went to Dr. Pepe who took great care of me and spoke with my primary medical doctor. Dr Pepe also decided to do my surgery at the hospital because he felt i needed an overnight stay. Dr. Zuck wanted me to be done in the surgery center that he makes profit for instead of hte hospital

WARNING!!! Zuck is so evil and fake. He really runs a workman comp mill. YOU WILL NOT GET PROPER TREATMENT!

As an IME He falsely reports on medical conditions on his reports.

I had a work-related injury, and Dr. Zuck treated me like a product on an assembly line. He runs a Workers Comp mill and seems to care only about the money. If you choose him and your own insurance pays, I think you get better care. I saw the staff putting green "self pay" stickers on some charts. But if you're Workers Comp, he sees you only as a paycheck. I needed surgery for a meniscus tear, and Dr. Zuck acted like I was wasting his precious time asking questions about the procedure. The day of surgery, he just came up to my gurney, said "What are we doing here?" Looked at my chart and said "Left knee," and marked my knee, and walked away without saying a word to me. Before surgery, he told me I would be out of work for two weeks. When I came to my post-op appointment 5 days after surgery, he told me in the exam room he would send me back to work a week later. But the work slip he filled out sent me back to work IMMEDIATELY, essentially allowing me to do my full job 5 days after surgery. When I pointed it out the the staff, and that I was still hurting and not ready to go back to work, they were rude and completely unsympathetic. After I threw a hissy fit in the office, they switched me to Dr. Anapolle, who at least treated me like a human being instead of a piece of machinery. If it's a Workers Comp case and your employeer forces you to use Zuck, invest $40 in a small digital recorder, put it in your pocket when you go, and record everything he says in the exam room (It is 100% legal to do this in NJ, with or without his knowledge.) Then you'll have an indisputable record of what he told you.

I have had a knee problem for more than a year which had been attended to by a doctor while I was living in Florida. He did NOT solve my problem. One office visit with Dr. Zuck and he knew exactly what the problem was, performed corrective surgery and called more than once to check on my recovery. Dr. Zuck's personality and attention rival the 'old school doctors' who really cared. Not the 'in-and-out-service' we typically receive today from medical personnel. Kudos to Dr. Zuck!!
