Dr. Gregory Alan Hill, MD

I’ve been going to Dr. Hill for a number of years and last year had my cataracts removed and he did a superb job. He also has a great and helpful staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hill for many years now.I liked him so much that I followed him from his original group location to the independent practice he established. My need for vision services has been routine, never requiring any serious procedure. Over this long time, I have always found service at his office to be uniformly excellent.The office always calls to remind me of my appointment. I never have to wait longer than fifteen minutes. A few times, either Dr. Hill or I have had to reschedule and that has been easy. His staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient.The office at Ballas is always clean and well maintained. I frequently notice that Dr. Hill has added new, improved instruments or devices that give better or quicker diagnostic information for use in my exam. Dr. Hill always takes time to explain and answer my questions.He takes the appropriate amount of time to take care of me without me feeling like he is rushing. I have complete confidence in him and feel fortunate to be able to count on him and his staff.

Dr. Hill just completed cataract surgery and Toric Lens implants on both my eyes. The combination of the lens and the surgery skills of the gifted and talented Dr. Gregory Hill, I feel like I have received a miracle. My world looks sharp and clear and alive with color, something I had not experienced for a very long time.

Minimal wait between testing and seeing the doctor; maybe 10 minutes at most. Friendly staff; I felt at ease. Dr. Hill seemed knowledgeable and has a gentle, calm demeanor. Spent time with me to make sure I understood diagnosis.

Dr. Hill performed cataract surgery on both eyes. I also had interocular lenses put in and I no longer wear glasses!!! I would highly recommend Dr. Hill as he is everything you want in a doctor!

Dr. Hill is extremely professional and very caring. He has a calm gentle nature which helps his patients feel more comfortable both in the office and surgical facility. He answered my questions, and explained the different lens available with his recommendation for me. I have recommended others to Dr. Hill. He was recommended to me by a family member. I initially went to Dr. Hill to have an eye exam to get new glasses, only to find out that my sight problem was because of cataracts on both eyes. That was so unexpected, but I knew that with all the testing that both Dr. Hill and his staff did on me, that they certainly knew what they were talking about. I felt very confident in booking my first surgery, which I had in January. I went to St. Joseph's in Lake St. Louis. Every aspect of the surgery went without a hitch, thanks to Dr. Hill, his staff, and the hospital's staff as well! Post-op visit the morning after, bandage was removed and unbelievably I could read the chart with no problem. It felt like a miracle. Having such a great experience with that first surgery, I made my appointment for the other eye and every aspect went just as well as the first. I highly recommend Dr. Hill for whatever problem one may have with their eyes. He is top-notch!!

I was diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes. The right eye, I was told, was the worst. Dr. Hill was recommended to me by the optomitrist I was seeing at the time. Dr. Hill confirmed the diagnosis and suggested surgery for the removal of the cataracts and replacement of the lens with an IOL. The facility where the surgery was performed was close to my residence and patients were handled with a high degree of efficiency. I was in and out in about half an hour and on my way to breakfast. The next morning I returned to Dr. Hill's office. He removed the patch and the world was brighter than I remembered. Dr. Hill and his associates were very kind and unrushed. They took all the time I needed to reassure me. I have not hesitated to recommend Dr. Hill and his staff to friends and acquaintenances. It is my understanding that two people have followed my recommendation.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes. I have the Restor lens,I do alot of needle work. It is great to be able to see well without glasses. Dr. Hill and his staff are excellent. Surgery went very well NO PAIN!

Dr. Hill was extremely professional and after several attempts at lasik, which turned out NOT to be an option, he jumped in immediately and gave me many alternatives. I ended up doing lens replacement which is a very aggressive means of correction but it is just perfect for me. I can see again and I couldn't be happier. Not being able to see was a disability for me and its almost a miracle that I have the vision that I do. Thank you Dr. Hill. You are a professional and I couldn't have asked for a more thorough evaluation of my eyesight needs. The surgery went perfectly, not one issue.

Dr. Hill and his staff at Hill Vision Services are excellent. I'm on summer break and didn't have a lot of time for an appointment, so Dr. Hill worked me in on a day that I was available. When I arrived I was greeted warmly by the staff. I arrived early to fill out my paperwork, and I ended up hardly having to wait at all - after about three minutes of browsing through the frames in the optical shop, I was called for my appointment. First, the optometrist, Dr. Blankenship, came in, shook my hand, and checked my vision. He was very friendly, helpful, and polite. Dr. Hill came in next, shook my hand, and examined my eyes. He helped me get fitted for a new pair of contacts, and we chatted for a few minutes about my eyes. He was friendly, extremely helpful, and very professional. When we finished discussing the problems I had with my old contacts he sent me to the optical shop again to get my frames ordered. I left Hill Vision Services about 30 minutes after my appointment time, and the care was excellent. Dr. Hill and his staff have truly mastered the art of showing that they really do care about each and every patient while being respectful of patients' time. They are knowledgeable enough to answer any questions, and since seeing Dr. Hill I am confident that I receive the best eye care possible in the Saint Louis region. I highly recommend Hill Vision Services.

I took my teenage daughter to see Dr. Hill. We were very pleased with the exam and the professionalism of the entire staff. Dr. Hill was quite competent and has great bedside manner. He made her feel very comfortable. She bought a pair of glass at his Optical Shop and they are very cute.
