I have treated here a couple times now and I absolutely love this Doctor! His staff is pretty great as well. Very nice facility too.

Dr. Gardner and the staff at Texas Medical Institute are wonderful. Not only is it Family Practice but they also work with personal, auto and sports injuries, have chiropractic care and more! Highly recommend!

Dr Gardner has been my family doctor for 9 years. His staff is excellent, always friendly and helpful. It’s nice to see someone who can treat me for my annual wellness, promptly if I’m sick, or even take care of me if I’m injured.

Dr. Gardner has been wonderful with our whole family. He is always available for sick visits, new injuries, or basic questions or concerns. We are luck to have him as our Primary Care Physician.

This doctor is the worst dr I personaly have ever meet. He treats people with real problems like they are trash. I have had major back reconstruction and He smerked at me and called me a cronic drug user in the hallway were every one could here. I guess he see's a lot of trashy people that when someone comes in with real neededs he cant tell the difference. Texas medical instatute has workers there that cant do paperwork right. And councelers that dont know what they are talking about. If there were a fake medical clinic this would be it. Be carefull when picking this dr and injury 1 to treat you. There is no telling what you will get. But for sure you will get treated wrong.

I went in to ER with compressed spine, cramped muscles and heart palpitations on Friday morning. I was concerned about toxins/poisons from the specific symptoms. He loomed up in the ER room door and greeted me with "Well, you're the delusional paranoid." and it went downhill from there. He questioned how long I lived in my town (22 years), the number of ER visits (none in several years) which meds my doctor routinely prescribed me (and made me repeat my doctor's name three times while he smirked) and implied I was drug seeking. He also called me a flat out liar because I couldn't remember the exact milligrams on one of my GAD meds.He never did look at my constricted muscles which were clearly clenched and frozen, treated me for nausea and abdominal pain which I didn't even have, and then finally said I had a bladder infection and fled without expounding leaving a scrip behind for antibiotics and finally orders for a shot that helped for my muscle constricture (ultimately for only a few hours, turns out). No explanation on how a bladder infection could cause my entire body's muscles and spine to painfully constrict, no after instructions, no nothing.I still have the symptoms and am making an appointment with my doctor. The muscle cramps which were the primary reason I went in were never addressed or resolved and I've been treating them at home with meds I already had until I can get to my MD.If there is anything worse than being quite ill and scared and in a lot of pain, it's being all those things while some smirky arrogant git attacks you when you try to seek help.If he doesn't wish to treat poor people (Medicaid), perhaps he shouldn't work at a county hospital.Tell him thanks a lot. I'm filing a report with the hospital too on Monday. I'm fairly sure the entire horrible episode was recorded or taped via hospital security cam or could be verified by a nurse or nurses. My daughter was also present and will attest to his incredible rudeness and unnecessary mental cruelty.I was absolutely furious and I felt totally helpless that this medical care is the best I could receive even though Medicaid is paying his sorry butt.
