Dr. Gregory Lee Spears, MD

He is by far the sorriest Dr I have ever been around in my life. I wouldn't trust him with the possums in our dumpsters life. He can't keep a job at a hospital he has bounced all over bc of it. His beside manner is appauling alon with his "education" more worried about bragging to his colleagues about sailing off to Flagstead instead of checking on his patients. Such a shame the people he has left to suffer. 1 star only because I had to to be able to leave a review.

I was in a car wreck and taken to the hospital. The Doctor barely examined me. For 4 days i limped in pain until I went to a different hospital where I saw Dr Spears. He was very thorough and took his time. He found I had a broken foot. I will never go any where else.

I am diabetic and went to 2 hospitals sick. Dr Spears found I had acid in me and put me in the ICU. He saved my life

Standard care for Covid 19 with pneumonia- 6 mg dexamethasone daily x 10 This guy decided to give me 16 mg a day x 50 pills So needless to say I had to reseek real medical care and get titrated down to stop the dehydration of my body and comorbidities this caused. Joke of a licensed MD And never spoke to me lol. Again high level care is still missed at our local ER and the new team is of no use to the citizens of our community

The worst doctor ever. Lacks skill plus prescribed med to himself. He was disciplined by med board

Incompetent rude, does not examine, stereotypes based upon your appearance and insurance. I was in his care for 6 hours and died for 5 minutes. Thank God a real physician Dr Vanhoose stepped in and saved my life. This guy plays God and despises the indigent. One malpractice suit from closing Bellefonte. Beware of the prejudice and the reaper in this man's hands. He is a vet and so am I but he is not a brother in arms.

Doesn't seem to care if you get treatment or not, rude and refused to explain diagnosis to me.

Was very concerned about my condition followed by admission to OLBH for further treatment and to be seen by specialists. We appreciate the promptness and dedication shown to me at a critical moment. Thanks........

Absoulate worse doctor I've ever had in my entire life.

This Doctor seemed on top of his game until he told me it was illegal to administor narcotic medicine through the ER. I told him that I did not need a script but releif until the antibiotics start to work he told me it was against the law. I told him I know that what he was telling me was untrue that they can while I am there under his care then he says well we can but we have to do all these things first but they cost money and "You don't have insurance" so not only does he lie to patients but he also only wants to help the wealthy and "insured". I get our area is in the middle of a major drug epidemic but are ER's not there to help people when ill or in unbareable pain! I hope my words keep him awake tonight. Since he is superhuman and even bullets don't cause him enough pain to warant anyone else worthy of pain medicine. It is amazing that people like him who can leap buildings in a single bound would bother clocking in at a place that he has to deal with low life scum like he obviously believed me to be? I did not receive any test or exrays so that I had proof of my pain for him to look at so that he didn't have to take my word for it. Such a same and waste hospital funds keeping someone like him on there staff. I did not mean to give him a star and this site will not let me take it back.

I have numerous back and nerve issues and have been told to go to the ER when the pain gets to an unbearable level. Everytime I go to OLBH when he is on duty I am never examined, my Dr is never contacted and I always end up leaving feeling worse. There are some people who do have documented reasons for dealing with pain that are not druggies. He obviously doesn't know or care

He made me feel like I was waisting his time and I was not important. He acted like he was having a bad day and took it out on me. I felt worse about my condition after I left his office.
