This man has written at least 400 published articles. He has been to 27 states, and 17 countries. He specializes in 14 areas. I have spent days researching This wonderful man. I have not even been entirely Diagnosed by this man. I definitely have faith in him.

Dr Merrick is a wonderful man. I abide by his treatment. Do what the man asks if you.

I was very impressed with Dr. Merrick, his prediction of cure time has been very close to being and the nurse staff are very qualified to handle any problem that you can question them on, they know more about a man then a man knows, when things arn't going our way it is a relief when we ge their call every week, these ladies are certainly on the cutting edge.

Having researched treatments for prostate cancer I decided to consult with Dr. Merrick. My wife and I talked with Dr. Merrick for some time. Was informed of all possible treatments.Decided on brachytherapy. Best decision . I have referred some of my patients who were also very pleased. Still followed 10 yrs later by Dr. Merrick. Still get my 6mos. phone calls to check up on my health. Great caring staff of whom I couldn't think more highly of. Missed 3 days in my practice due to therapy. I am now semi retired and at 69 yrs old hope to work and have a normal and productive life for some time to come.

The entire staff of the Schiffler Cancer center at Wheeling Hospital are fantastic.

I'm fighting for my life with cancer and he refuses ti treat me because my initial treatment for cancer was surgical at a university hospitaland not radiation. I have been told that I may not need radiationbut Dr. merrick assured me I would and made it clear that he would not treat me !!! I'm getting punished for researching my illness, consulting with other docs and choosing the treatment that puts my mind at ease. I thought doctors worked together and put the patients health first. Dr. Merrick appears to have the philosophy of his way or the high way. His words hit me hard when I am already down. He made me feel as if I were a statistic and I probably won't survive. I hope no one has to go thru this.

This man is an artist! You can't get better care for prostate cancer.

I can only say positive things about Dr.Merrick and his staff and the Schiffler Cancer Center.They explained what was going to happen, how it would happen, and what to expect when I went home very thoroughly to me. I want to thank Dr. Merrick and his STAFF for the excellent care I received and continue to receive via phone calls to me by his excellent staff. I feel cured!
