Dr. Gregory Paul Samano, DO

This office, and Dr. Samano, should be ashamed of how they run their practice. They allowed a patient to have a consultation with an aesthetician, go through a treatment test patch, schedule a full treatment and go over the treatment plan without ever meeting, or having any consultation with Dr. Samano at all. Then, they allowed the patient to come in for the treatment, be fully numbed and sit in the treatment room for an hour, before informing the patient, just as their treatment was about to begin, that Dr. Samano would not sign-off on this. Where was Dr. Samano during all of the many steps that led to that point? Isn't that what a "consultation" is supposed to be for? Then Dr. Samano refuses to even speak with the patient regarding his decision to not sign off? Very poor practice, and I would caution anyone against visiting this office, as I'm sure this is indicative of additional poor practices.

His older reviews were often correct, but he is now under a new program (MDVIP) and has by choice fewer patients (better to see you right away), great office staff (very friendly), and takes great interest in his patients!

My first visit to Dr. Samano's office was for treatment of brown spots. His very observant employee, Brie expressed a concern as to possible melanoma on one spot and asked if it would be okay for Dr. Samano to look at it. I said of course but I am not scheduled to see him. She said no worries I will be right back. Within a minute he came in with her and introduced himself. He was so friendly and caring! You would never know he had been interrupted to see an unscheduled patient. He asked a few questions and said " You are fine, if it was melanoma well"... and I finished with " we would not be here having this conversation?" and he said "yes, you are correct". I was so impressed with Dr. Samano I scheduled a second visit for vein treatments. When I scheduled I thought it was purely cosmetic. He advised my problem was much more than cosmetic and ordered a ultrasound which confirmed his diagnosis of a genetic disorder. I am currently in treatment and once again Dr. Samano has discovered a potential medical problem and referred me to my regular gynecologist. He assured me I am not to be alarmed however since he detected a possible issue he encouraged me to be seen to make sure all is ok. He has the ability to make you feel like you are his only patient. He and his staff never rush you or makes you feel they do not have time to take care of you. The only disappointment is the amount of time I have had to wait to be seen since I am already driving 45 minutes to get to the office. BUT it is well worth the wait. I have total confidence in the care received by Dr. Samano II and am certain Dr. Samano Senior must be extremely proud of his son. Thank you and your staff for being so awesome. I've been a long time patient of both Dr. Samano Sr., and Dr. Samano II. They are both top notch physicians that truly care about their patients. They invest in their practice, state of the art; they take time with their patients, so sometimes they may run a little late. That's okay, because I know I'll have that same quality of service my turn; Staff are professional; Insurance clerk caused me a bit of a delay recently, I know that isn't the norm, its the exception. Overall, I'd go to them even if my insurance wasn't accepted. Well worth it!

While the doctor is nice, the staff booked my appt wrong, billed me AND my insurance wrong and then acted as if I inconvenienced them when I tried to get them to correct it. Every follow up with them since then has been lacking in any type of empathy and waiting over an hour to see the doctor for less than ten minutes just isn't worth the hassle. They clearly care a whole lot more about their cosmetic patients as they market this beyond reason than they do the standards of general business. Don't bother. The staff alone are a big turn-off.

I am a PA so I have a lot of experience working with a variety of surgeons and physicians. In addition, I work for several companies training doctors in the use of surgical equipment. As such I have worked with thousands of doctors in my career. I want to extend my highest recommendation for Dr. Samano II. His knowledge of medicine is so extensive very few physicians have a frame of reference and knowledge like him. No doubt growing up learning from a young age at his dads side (who also was a doctor) contributed to his vast knowledge of medicine. His practice is STATE OF THE ART. Few doctors have made the investment in technology that Dr. Samano has. He wants the best for his patients and offers a multitude of options to treat so many things right in one place. Finally, I would be remiss if I didn't mention his greatest quality, it's HIM. Dr. Samano has a down to earth country doctor feel to his practice. You will never feel rushed or uncomfortable in his office. He is so incredibly friendly and truly cares for his patients. I hold him in the highest regard and recommend you get the care that I have been privileged to receive from him!

Dr Samano Jr has been our family physician for over 10 years since we moved to Central Florida. He is by far the best physician we have ever come across. In fact, we find ourselves bragging about him to our friends and family. Dr Samano's bedside manner is like no other. Very friendly, down to earth and caring. He will sit down (eye to eye level) and give you the time you deserve to get all of the answers to your questions. You never feel rushed.

I have been a patient of Dr. Samano's for over 6 years and have never had a bad experience. The only reason I ever have to wait is because his staff has worked me in as a stat and made sure I didnt have to wait for any length of time when I need to be seen. He is a great doctor!

DR SAMANO II IS THE BEST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER BEEN TO...HE RUNS LATE BUT THAT IS BECAUSE HE GIVES HIS PATIENTS EXCELLENT CARE AND ALWAYS LISTENS TO WHAT YOU SAY. HE TREATS ME WITH RESPECT AND KINDNESS. THESE TYPE OF DOCTORS ARE ALMOST NON-EXISTANT...EVEN IF I MOVE OUT OF STATE I WILL STILL MAKE IT A POINT TO KEEP HIM AS MY PHYSICIAN...ALWAYS!!!

I find Dr Greg Samano one of the best doctors in Orlando. In the past 14 years he has saved my life twice, once by detecting a heart problem and again by quickly diagnosing a gall bladder issue. He is pleasant, thorough, and genuinely cares about his patients and their families. I strongly recommend his services!

I have been seeing Dr Samano II for about 10 years. I recently moved out of state-and 18mo later I am returning to him for my medical care-noone compares to his care. He is well worth the travel!
