Amazing Doctor and great staff! Highly recommend!

Dr. Surfield removed melanoma from my arm. He never spoke to me during the surgery, instead spoke only to his nurse complaining about various financial matters. Following the surgery, he said nothing, until I stopped him to ask some questions. If your looking for a kind bedside manner, he's not your guy. Worst of all, my arm looks like a child did the stiches.

Always get a second opinion before seeing this doctor. I had a supposed cyst removed from the back of my neck. During this being removed I had a reaction to the numbing medication and almost passed out. The nurse helped by holding my head up while the doctor stitched up my wound. After he was done I never saw him again. I would think he would have explained what happened. I was to be notified in 5 to 7 days the results of the specimen.14 days later I called the office and asked about it and was told the specimen mistakenly got thrown away but it was a lipoma not a cyst. I strongly believe no one would have contacted me.

I was treated poorly with no communication. He suffers bad bedside manner, with no compassion for his patient.

Very happy with my surgery

Recently had a breast lift with implants done...along with liposuction of the abdomen. My recovery time was fast without complications. What I feared the most was the pain, which to my surprise, was very well- controlled. The care I received from the physician and staff was superior. Nurse Angela was pleasant and provided me the support I needed from a female perspective. They accommodated my care to what I wanted and respected my wishes. Bedside manner is important to me, but I feel that a physician who actually 'listens" to their patients and has up-to-date skills in medicine is the highest priority.

He saw me the same day as my Moh's surgery even though the waiting room was full. I had to wait a little longer and I hope I didn't make other people wait too long. Did an awesome job with my surgery. Very happy!

Dr. Surfield did a wonderful job on my surgery but his bedside manner leaves so much to be desired. His follow up care was very poor and he treated me as a "body part" not as a person. I would never rec. him to someone that I cared about. Front desk girl was amazing, his nurse was "cold" and not interested in how I did after surgery. A true disappointment.
