Kept looking at his watch on my followup after surgery. Subtle much? Despite my asking did not follow any suggestions preop and just went with what everyone else did. Now I hurt more, and no more clear answers than before. Thanks doc. My time is important too.. you made me wait almost an hour and couldn't be bothered to help more. You suggested a few things but provided no referrals. Basically 'good luck'. Prayer before surgery? What am I supposed to say right before I go under. No, don't pray.. now you're offended you'll cut me open.

Dr. May did an outstanding job with my procedure. He offered politely to have prayer before the surgery which I gratefully accepted. It immediately put me at ease. I felt like I could just as easily have said no without offending him in any way. He has an excellent bedside manner and I can't speak highly enough of him.

Very compassionate and thorough! I was seen on time and he addressed all of my questions. The rooms were very neat and clean. Staff was very friendly!

Was very rude and hurtful to my wife when she was suffering from post-partum depression. It especially hurt her because he had delivered our first baby and had seemed very nice then.

Very rude and unprofessional.He promotes himself by saying he has a strong relationship with God but treats patients poorly.

Best OB/GYN anywhere!! Incredible bedside manner and always tells you what to expect. Was my doctor through 3 pregnancies, he is the BEST!

I first met Dr. May 13 years ago with the birth of my daughter Kaitlin . I had complications through out my whole pregnancy and he was very supportive the whole way. I had a lot of bleeding and I kept going into labor starting at 23 weeks. He was fresh out of school and diagnosed me with group B Strep. Thanks to that I was able to have a safe and healthy vaginal delivery. Without that diagnoses my Daughter could have been still born, or had some birth defects without the antibiotics that you need to have with this problem. Kaitlin was still born at 30 weeks, but we owe her safe arrival to Dr. May. Her lungs were fine since he had given me the shots I needed to get her ready for an early delivery; as well as, the rest of her organs. She came home only 6 days after being born; instead of, staying in the hospital for the next 10 weeks. Today she is 13 and playing every sport that she can fit into her schedule. She is making all A's and is in the honors program at her school. I would highly recommend Dr. May and his staff if your looking for a regular Dr., or a high risk Dr. I now have 3 beautiful Daughters thanks to his office, and I will continue my check ups there as long as I live here in this part of Tennessee.Thanks Dr. May

He is very gifted in his work and a quick thinker I wouldn't have wanted anyone else in the world to deliver my son!
