MY MOTHER WAS HIS PATIENT SOME YEARS AGO AND HE WAS A SUPERB SURGEON AND DOCTOR!. should i ever need a doctor/surgeon in his medical area i would need his medical ability i would not pause a SECOND i would choose choose him in a a immediately !!!!

Dr. Malik is the absolute best. I am almost pain-free but I'm still healing. I wish I would have had the surgery years ago, my life would have been much better quality. Recovery is no picnic but well worth it. I have suffered with back (sciatic) paind for years because I was apprehensive. Don't be, he will put your mind at ease.

Had Dr Mallik as my surgeon of choice for my lower back. Surgery great success and I would highly recommend him to anyone in future for back pain surgery correction. In my opinion he's the Best of the Best.

Never rushes, always listens to my concerns and answers all questions.

I work in the OR one of the hospitals Dr. Mallik Operates in. He is who I refer all my friends and family to. His patient is always first & it shows. He is an extremely skilled neurosurgeon that takes his time to ensure the best results to everyone he sees. He treats his staff with patience & kindnes which is rare to find these days.

I saw Dr. Mallik for evaluation of neck and back problems. I had a very thorough neuro exam. My MRI discs were discussed and explained..in detail..with me and my husband. Always a Great Doctor......absolutely no issues with the doctor...BUT! office staff needs serious help. Its a shame what a wonderful doctor has a staff to not back up his A+++ professional and kindness to his clients.

Very polite and easy to talk to doctor. My insurance turgned down the surgerical produce he proposed so now I'm having to write an appeal,

Dr Mallik was recommended by my daughter who is an RN with Mt Carmel Medical Systems working the neuro floor at times and said that he has the best reputation among the nurses. He has operated on both my wife and I and now we are living in Missouri but will still drive the 550 miles to see him.

Does not return calls. Does not respond promptly or provide insurance and work documents required. Can not schedule return visits or surgery. very disappointing . . .

When he was working with Dr. Kosnick he was the one who found my tumor and I beleve saved my life. Now I see him, and think he is the best neurologist there is. Thanks so much Dr. Mallik

Love , Love , Love Dr. Gunwant Mallik! He is very intelligent and trust worthy. I must admit when I first met him I was a bit sceptic, but the more we talked the more at ease I became with him. I was facing neck surgery of which could of paralyzed me but I put my trust in Dr. Malik and went with the surgery I am 100 times better and my symptoms and pain has gone away. I'm go grateful and blessed to have found Dr. Gunwant Mallik.

Everything was fine until my insurance turned down the request for surgery. His office was to follow up with an sppeal. Two months later after repeated calls to his office (to which I got.."The person who handles Insurance Claims is on another line or out of the office"). I was told they would return my call before 5:00pm. That call never came. I called my Insurance to check on the Appeal. They said they had never heard from him. After 2 mths of increasing pain and missed work I have gotten another Dr.. So make sure your Insurance is good or you will get no results from this Dr.

Best doctor I've ever seen! He cares and has ethics. Had 2 separate neck surgeries on 4 separate vert. levels out of 7. He wanted me to heal with my own bone instead of using plates and screws. The results have been amazing!

I feel that Dr Mallik is very sincere and cares about his patients.

I would 101 % recommend Dr Mallik to friends and family or anyone who is concerned with neurological disorders. I have been his patient for two years. The best part is he is a good listener and also his knowledge in his field makes the patient feel at ease. The confidence he gives the patient and explains every concern in detail. All I know that my care is taken by the best Dr and I would definitely want other people to feel the same way. It's an honor to be his patient. I would give him and his staff infinite stars.
